Poysdorf is in the middle of the Lower Austrian wine-growing...
Poysdorf is in the middle of the Lower Austrian wine-growing area "Weinviertel" (i.e. Wine Quarter), which specializes in white wines, although the red ones are also very tasty. I can recommend a wine-tasting session (10 different wines) at one of the "Heurigen" wine cellars. The (large) meat, sausage and/or vegetarian platters furnish a necessary "foundation" for all the alcohol. But the non-alcoholic grape juices are lovely too.
Beautifully set in the wine fields, near the Czech border and just few km s from the highway Brno-Vienna. The breakfast was early, also convenient 1 night stay for people flying from Schwechat airport round midday. Good meals, friendly staff, free parking. Nice walks in the vicinity of the hotel.
Convenient location for trips from Poland on the way south. Quiet beautiful surroundings, nice walks through the wineyards, good dinner and breakfast including wine from the own winery. Also to buy directly at the hotel.
Hotel all in all really good and a very friendly & helpful team.
Phantastic breakfast with eggs made to order at a counter and a broad range of very good food options.
Wine self service for after hours with own wines.
Breakfast was excellent; very friendly staff, nice room, may be even too big. ;-)
I strongly recommend this hotel in a nice town of Poysdorf especially for "wine travelers"

Quirky Small hotel linked to a Coffee and Cake shop. Both very nice. Breakfast ordered in the Coffee shop from a menu. Staff went the extra mile to help. Large room.
The hotel offers large rooms with comfort. The bathroom was big. The breakfast was delicious. At the hotel, you can buy vine bottles directly from the family.
