Harbourview Inn and Suites, hotel in Sydney

Situated in Sydney, 1.6 km from Membertou Trade & Convention Centre, Harbourview Inn and Suites features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with my 7-month-old baby. Since I came from a vacation, I had a few luggages from the airport, and the staff kindly assisted in bringing them to my room. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast was enjoyable.

The people are so friendly, always happy to talk with you and help where needed. All the bus drivers were so helpful. Restaurants we visited served good food, friendly staff. Spent our time at World Curling event, met wonderful locals and nice visitors "from away"

Sydney will never be what it was back in the 50 and 60s., with the Steel Plant, fishing and the closing of the coal mines in the area but if you have lived here in the past you can still enjoy the scenery.

Dominion beach was the best beach out of the few i went to...

Dominion beach was the best beach out of the few i went to it was very long to accommodate many people, it had plenty of sand for the little ones, it was quite cold but not much worse than many other bodies of water. Fortress of louisburg was pretty interesting just be sure to pack your own snacks and drinks as their food and drinks are extremely overpriced, it is chilly to start (on a 21C day) but gets quite warm once walking around and if you can avoid bringing a stroller it will be much easier to get around. Two rivers wildlife park was a good spot to check out the animals, good luck seeing the moose but worth the trip, the canteen is reasonably priced with a good variety of fried foods to choose from which were very delicious. Many of the tourist spots are pretty far away so we did not get to tour many places such as fundy bay to see the tides or the cabot trail or lunenberg because it is a lot of driving and we drove to cape breton from southern ontario. Make sure to keep your plastic bottles because you pay deposits at the grocery stores! It is a little bit more of an expensive place to travel to but the ocean views, sunsets and the amazing friendliness of the locals makes it worth it all in the end.

Cape Breton is a lovely place but a huge price-gouging tourist trap. Lots of places haven't recovered from COVID so many places were either closed or short-staffed. The weather is getting crazy too. Booking.com was the biggest pain in the ass. In a number of situations, they were confusing, unhelpful, and useless. Far better to call the motel directly and avoid this European-owned and operated app.

Excellent place to visit, so much to do.

Excellent place to visit, so much to do. We ended up staying at North Sidney at the "Hotel North" Excellent location, very clean rooms, right at the Newfoundland Ferry launch. Excellent restaurant and close to plenty of amenities.

When the microwave in our room appeared to have died 10 seconds after starting a bag of popcorn, the service staff was very good at replacing it — but that proved not to be the problem… read on! The hotel has an elevator… great for older people, although the luggage trolley (very difficult to maneuver — bad wheels) barely fits in it. Waterfront view was nice. In house eateries convenient.

Staff was fabulous, and so friendly! Location for the concert we were attending was a 5 min walk, parking for the hotel was super convenient, and the room was so quiet we thought we were the only guests at the Inn! (Surprisingly quiet despite the location near a busy road!) We will definitely choose these lovely, well-appointed accomodations again when visiting Sydney. Recommed!

Great location walking distance to the Sydney boardwalk. We loved the "drive up” feature where we could park right in front of the room door and load and unload our car straight into the room. The breakfast was fantastic and the coffee machine in the lobby came in handy (especially considering that it was accessible 24/7). The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Stayed one night for our anniversary. A very nice stay - friendly staff, easy check in. An older building, the floors are on a bit of an angle but the place is very well maintained and very clean... a lot like staying in your Granny's house. I would certainly recommend it over the chain hotels, as it has charm and is comfy and clean. Excellent location as well.

We were welcomed with a couple of chocolate croissants. Everything was spotless. Close to Sydney downtown. Motel owners are a Russian couple and very friendly. She offered us a cup of coffee just before we left. Had a laundry.
