The beds were comfortable, the room was very clean, but dated, which is OK. The fridge was too cold and froze our salad. It was nice that we had a kitchenette and a door between the bedroom and the kitchen. We appreciated that.

This hotel's staff were audaciously asking for 20% tips at breakfast. When we carried no cash, we were even ask to charge it to our room service bills. We are a senior couple travelling from U.S. and this was our first and last time to Hilton Garden Inn at Markham (Highway 7 and Highway 404). Very bad experience.

We were there for a funeral near by, so not really there to sightsee. There were some interesting shops nearby, though, and subway very close by so I would stay in future if we had other things planned in TorontoHeatherCanada

Door doesn’t even properly close. They put in this huge unnecessary table with 8 office chairs in the middle on the room. Washroom is 2 meters by 2. Worst experience. Do not recommend. Paid almost 400$ for a room that was straight out of a horror film. Manager of the hotel took us as a joke. Unpleasant attitude.

Nice to have a microwave and a fridge. The location of the hotel is excellent on the border of North York and Thornhill giving access to both. The breakfast was very pleasant with a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, toast, waffles, pancakes, porridge and boiled eggs.
