View. Yes, the VIEW! You get to sleep knowing Mt Eiger is right outside your balcony. You get to wake up and see Mt Eiger in full unblocked splendor. Room wise is basic and adequate. It's a cosy and warm little hotel. Breakfast is adequate but it makes up with quality. The front desk is helmed always by wonderful people that can offer you all the information you can ask abt Grindelwald. They are like living encyclopedias. The room was exactly the same as the pictures on the site. Greetings when arriving were friendly and informative. The room and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast had a nice selection of fruits, cereals, meats, cheeses and breads. The location close to the train station is very convenient for arrival and departure.
