Dream location and cabins, the pictures are exactly like the reality, and even more beautiful. The price is quite high and the activities offered were all super interesting but very pricey. The food the staff and everything else was just perfect!

It was an unforgettable experience walking through nature, seeing the rivers and waterfalls. The variety of birds, the tranquility of being surrounded by so many sounds, breathtaking sunsets. I truly enjoyed the whole experience and place. Will do it again, highly recommended.

Lovely place to see birds, swim in some waterfalls, have some good coffee and chocolate on farms, get some craft beer. Very hot though— stay hydrated and pack sunscreen. I would recommend this place and advise hiking around to enjoy the nature.

Loved Minca so much.
Loved Minca so much. The town feels very catered to tourists and it was hard to find a cheap, local restaurant with a menu del dia for example but there are lots of good western-ish options and the wildlife/surrounding area is so beautiful. Highly recommend the Cerro Kennedy hike (stay at El Ramo) too.

Minca is a fantastic place to visit to get a sense of the mountainous area of Colombia and its lush and alluring jungle with all the glory of its flora and fauna. Only a short drive from the Santa Marta airport, you find ourself in a little village that is a haven to hikers, motocross bikers, and bird watchers. There are many places to eat with a variety of cuisines and for the most part the food was good. Our favorite activity was birdwatching. We had fantastic outings booked through Jungle Joe. Our guides Tony Martin and Gustavo Viloria were both extremely professional and informed. We loved the La Vittoria Coffee Plantation tucked away in the jungle. Another favorite was Rio Elemento, a hotel/restaurant on the banks of the river with an awesome swing that carries you over the rushing waters.

It is very pretty and I appreciated the access to other types of food since we had been traveling the Colombia for a bit and had been exclusively eating traditional colombian food. You cannot speak about Minca without mentioning the bugs, they are terrible! the worse part is you don’t really see them or know when you are being bit. You just look down and your legs are covered in bites. Also there is a new age spirituality vibe that is strongly felt in the town.

It’s not a party town but it’s beautiful, scenic, has lovely waterfalls! Nice place to wind down after long hikes. Either take mototaxis everywhere is you don’t want to walk or hike! Ask for a helmet!
The view I absolutely outstanding. The hotel is also very comfortable and this is an awesome place to be “off the world”. If you have a 4x4, a motorbike or traveling with light luggage (=moto taxi), this is a great choice.
The hotel offers a free walking tour which was nice (but the 10 years old junior guide was running way too fast to enjoy the nature).
Generally we had the impression that the hotel offers a higher standard than most other hotels in Colombia, e. g. nicely decorated cocktails, food etc.
Newly built Twin Room with a really nice decoration and comfort. Great kitchen area to cook. One of the best HOT showers in my entire Colombia trip!!
Nice views to the river and the jungle. Don't miss the private river access and their sunset view point, it's unreal!!
Super nice staff, they helped me with my tours and hikes and gave me a map of the town and surroundings. It's very close to the town but set in nice Nature. I would definitely recommend casa Mango if you visit Minca.
Spacious dorm with good ensuite bathroom/shower facilities. Great location a short and pleasant walk across the river to town and very quiet in the evenings. Staff are friendly, can't comment on service as we never ordered anything from the restaurant/bar. Breakfast was good, the biggest breakfast we have had in Colombia that was included in our accommodation price. A/C worked well, although to be honest at night in Minca you don't really need it.
Lovely, quiet location about a 10 minute walk from town. Very cute and comfortable. The breakfast was very good - it was traditional Colombian, handmade arepas with eggs, some fruit, and juice. The staff were extremely kind and friendly. The ambiance is very chill. The hostel itself is very small, not too many people. The wifi is surprisingly good! There's a river right next to the hostel you can swim in.
We have been travelling Colombia for 1 month and this place was our absolute highlight. The domes are well equipped, clean and modern. The view is stunning, and the hosts are absolutely amazing. Do the coffee tour and the waterfall (there are no other tourist at the waterfall), and look forward to the best home cooked meals. If you are going to Minca, stay here - you won’t regret it!
This property was insane. So beautiful, the staff were all lovely, and had the option of dorm and private rooms that gave it an upscale hostel feel where it was easy to chat and make pals in the common areas. The photos don’t do it justice. Highly recommend doing the permaculture tour with Pim and Annie at the farm that supplies the food. One of our fav experiences in Colombia.
I absolutely loved everything. The rooms are just beautiful. Amazing eco-design, so it fits right in with the beautiful nature that Sol the Minca is located in. Most comfortable beds we’ve had in Colombia. Frederico and his family are very welcoming, passionate about their business and will help you with everything. The food is also amazing!! Would 100% recommend.
It’s a beautiful property with a lot of charm - the farm birds and cats were awesome to interact with, the room is beautiful and spacious with a super comfortable bed, and Nore is incredibly kind and so accommodating! Breakfast was great as well. Really enjoyed hanging out at Minca Glamping during the day - it’s a great place to just relax.
Very friendly, warmhearted staff. Great location in the middle of the nature, about 40 min by foot outside the village, that's why it's really nice quiet and peaceful. It's a small Finca, not luxurious, but a good value.
All day long you can enjoy Coffee and hot chocolate of their own production, it's the best coffee I had in Colombia.
We stayed in the tree house and it was absolutely spectacular. A gorgeous retreat to come and relax at - they offer free yoga classes and have delicious healthy food and a beautiful river where you can cool down. It’s a few minutes by motorcycle to Minca town and a great overall place to unwind and enjoy nature
The couple that ran this hotel are very accommodating and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Location was very close to town but far enough away that it was not too noisy. Safe neighbourhood to walk around in lots of restaurants close by.
3 Pools. Wifi good in common areas. Amazing staff. Fantastic food. Lovely chill vibe - casual, tropical, clean. Great bed. Tight mosquito netting. Sweet bathroom. Best food in Colombia, including best breakfast. Good hikes nearby.
Mai who works there was very helpful in assisting me to rearrange my booking, get my cases to my room, look a different cheaper options for an ongoing stay - thank you. WiFi was the best I’ve had in Colombia.
Beautiful spot on the river, which you can access via a gate to swim/wad in. Good location in town and yet still quiet. A very nice looking hotel with great seating areas to hang out.
