Good transport links from station-efficient tram system + Superb Steam Railway.Quaint old town. Excellent Restaurants, especially Namaste. Shanghai Tokyo Sushi & Acropolis good too. Hotel Reception recommended a brilliant Italian restaurant around the corner from the hotel for supper. The breakfast was very delicious with many options for vegetarians. In the morning, Reception then recommended us Landesgartenschaugelände Nordhausen - my young daughter and I had an amazing time at this scenic park which is just 10mins walk from the hotel. We will definitely return here next time.

The hotel is located across the street from the steam train which we were traveling on up to Brocken. Tha apartment is fine, shower (private) and kitchen outside the main room, ensuite toilet. The hosts are extremely nice and they run a very good restaurant downstairs. The shower is great with a very hot water and hi-pressure. Anything is tidy and clean.
