Ugandi Hotel is close to the city center of Otepaa and walking distance to activities. Breakfast was amazing with many options to choose from. The staff went out of their to be really good hosts and helpful. They even gave us a jar of local honey when we checked out. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Little details such as lighting and room decor made it very cozy. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

The cottage has two levels, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom downstairs. Upstairs it's various sleeping beds. It was clean, kitchen with everything, bathroom is spacious with 2 person sauna, great location next to ski slopes. Different pillows can be requested. Great Fireplace with tons of wood. Tv with cable channels. Everything u need for a comfy stay. Lovely interior and great views from all windows. Very warm and friendly owners.

Very comfortable and neat appartment, efficient heating which matters in the winter when we have stayed there. Cosy surroundings, fantastic location just few minutes from the lake where you can start your cross-counrty skiing at at a well maintained classical trail from this lake (Otepaa) to Kaariku for the first day. Also great classical trails along the famous Tartu Marathon. And a very kind host, Mati. Our stay was just fantastic. P.S. In Otepaa very well supplied Konsum Coop to do basic shopping.

We love Otepää & Pühajärve. Fantastic central location in South Estonia. Plenty of hotels, apartments & guesthouses to rent. Perfect for taking day trips to surrounding areas & sites. Town itself is very pretty & has great grocery stores. People & service is exceptional. My husband had a headache, but in Estonia pharmaceuticals are only sold in pharmacies - no headache tablets in grocery stores or petrol stations etc. It was late in the evening and all pharmacies were closed. We went to the local petrol station in hopes to find some pain killers only to find out they are only sold in pharmacies, so the lady at the counter gave us some of her own headache tablets ♥️♥️♥️ I love wild swimming & Pühajärve lake has a great sandy beach + beautiful park for those who love walking. Plus there is a boat rental etc available. All in all a great place to enjoy nature 🪷🌿🤍

Otepää and the surrounding area is perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, cross country skiing (summer and winter) and even ski-jumping if you can :) Beautiful oak forrests, nice barbecue spots and well kept little beaches close to the lake. Half an hour drive to Tartu.

It was the best idea to rent a car from Tartu and travel to Otepää with car. There are many different places to visit with car. Really enjoy'd my visit to Pühajärve jaanituli. Really looking forward to coming back.KaupoEstonia

Location is also good, as it is a walkable distance from the Vaike Munamagi ski resort (~25 minutes), and even close to the town center (~10 minutes). The staff of the hotel was very nice, they let us in earlier than the check-in time, and when we checked out a day before, they did not charge us for the night that we did not use, that was very kind of them.
