It's also close to the river, and the heating, fireplace, and sauna allowed us to experience the Arctic Circle lifestyle. Such a beautiful and serene location. Peaceful and quiet, surrounded by trees and covered in snow. The facilities in the cabin were great - all the things we needed to make our own food (and coffee) and the wee porch was perfect for sitting on with a coffee and watching the snow fall. The bathroom floor was heated which was a nice little surprise. The beds were cosy and the wifi was great. The discounted buffet brekkie at the hotel was also a nice little extra.
