Very picturesque tourist market town - typical of the Cotswolds. with River Windrush meandering through the centre. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and gift shops. Lovely historic Model Village. Plenty of parking and public facilities.

Plenty of attractions to visit and large variety of places to eat. Wonderful local scenery and close to many other Cotswold towns. Free parking for 90 minutes is available in the centre of the town if you look for it. A lovely place to walk around with traditional old stone buildings.

A lovely historic town with some tourist attractions within walking distance. We spent a day exploring the town and visited the model village, the motor museum and Birdland. Food options are varied, good old English, Italian, fine dining and tapas. The village is beautiful with many old properties that are well maintained. Pubs are oldy worldly and very busy at weekends. Plenty of good coffee shops. Paid Parking is available at either end of the village if staying over 1 hour so no problem parking. Village parking is restricted. Absolutely stunning, beautiful place full of character.
Absolutely stunning, beautiful place full of character. We visited slightly out of season so was not too busy. Smiths is an amazing restaurant, specialising in gourmet burgers, you will not be disappointed! Lots of other independent shops selling a range of crafts, antiques and much more.

We rented a twin room and it was all as described but the beds were not good. We had springs poking us throughout the night. So much so that we actually had bruises from them. We checked out early as there was no other room available and the staff were very gracious and kind about the situation. We would recommend staying here but maybe not in a twin room or at least until the replace those mattresses.MelindaUnited States

We were able to park easily behind the hotel and breakfast every morning was delicious and great to wake up to.
