The accommodation was exactly as described, bigger than I'd imagined and in a beautiful setting. I had a warm welcome from friendly staff. The room that I was in was large with a small en suite toilet and shower room. Breakfast was great. It’s a quiet location, close to town.

The location on the promenade was perfect, ferry terminal about 500 feet away and the bus stop to the airport outside the front door. Visitor welcome center inside the ferry terminal and made it easy to get information and maximize my time.

Handy for the ferry and for traveling to other towns. The three day travel pass is a great idea and it would have been good to get that information from staff and maybe some leaflets about places of interest. It was good having the lift. Nice clean friendly hotel. Plenty of choice at breakfast . Only dined in once but nice carvery. Many hotels now have the reuse of towels which makes a lot of sense.
