We were made very welcome at The Bonnie Badger by all the staff who were very friendly. The room was beautifully clean - gorgeous bath! We travelled with our dog and she was also made very welcome - a bed and bowl were provided. We were absolutely delighted that Maisie was also welcome in the Stable Restaurant as we had thought we may only be able to eat in the Bar area. The food was exquisite for both of our evening meals - the breakfast was high quality. It was lovely to have the jars with the fresh fruit and the special apple, yoghurt and home-made granola - this all made such a welcome change to the usual breakfast buffet approach of other hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - whilst it was busy, we still felt it was peaceful and private. Thank you to everyone at the Bonnie Badger.

Have visited North Berwick often but never stayed over as lived not far away in the past. Tantallon and Dirleton Castles are very different with the former having a view of Bass Rock. Very dog friendly. Lots of places to have food and refreshments. The Rocketeer for lobster is a must.

Its a beautiful characterful town and a great place to stay if you are heading up towards Edinburgh. The beaches are beautiful and the town has a great selection of cafes and little shops. The Scottish SeaBird Centre is really good and well worth a visit. A walk to the nearby Tentallon Castle is recommended.

Two wonderful courses in the town and many more exceptional courses within a few miles.
Several decent pubs and small restaurants. We were told to avoid the Chinese but the fish and chips were great.
The train from Edinburgh only takes 20 minutes and costs pennies!!
- central location with doorstep parking. easy access to the Main Street and beach.
- lovely modern house, kitchen had everything you need to cater if you prefer, very clean, really comfortable living space
- small private patio area with lighting is a bonus to enjoy the outdoors
- the welcome pack was super, thoughtful extras also available such as tea, coffee, sugar and condiments.
- host was quick to respond to requests
Appalling.....poor maintenance....I have spent time in hostels that were better presented at a fraction of the price. Staff disappeared and left note on door to say they avevto leave and wouldn't be around in the morning to serve breakfast ....therefore no breakfast which was paid for with the room. This hotel is more like a very poor B&B without the breakfast. Over priced and feel ripped off...
Great location and the views across the golf links and sea were amazing.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel
Appeared to be well staffed too.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice to cover all tastes.
North Berwick is lovely seaside town with a good high street and great places to walk all around
Great house in a small city with a great location - walking distance to the beach or golf course, restaurants and the train station to head into the city. The house was as shown in the pictures and was great for our group (2 couples). We were met by the host’s family to give us information about the house/area.
Lovely property ..... very well decorated and furnished...light and bright.... with an excellent kitchen. Warm and cosy. The location was great right by the coast. On Street parking was fine. Good train links to Edinburgh. This is our 3rd time in North Berwick ..... with this property being our favourite.
We traveled to North Berwick for The Scottish Open. Linda Vista was a good base for our group to rest after long days at the course with a great kitchen (beach view is wonderful from this space), two lounge areas and comfortable rooms. Easy walk to local restaurants as well as sunrise/ sunset beach walks.
This is a grand old lady, perched on the seashore in North Berwick. You can feel the former glory of this amazing hotel - the views are extraordinary and the facilities are extensive - conference centre, spa, gym, bars and restaurants. The room was freshly decorated and high spec.
Location was brilliant. Seacliff Beach only 10 minute walk away. Cottage was very spacious, bedrooms all a good size. Nice to have 2 sitting areas. Kitchen great for dining in. All in all a great place for a relaxing family holiday with North Berwick only a short drive away.
Location and views excellent
Lovely cottage with excellent facilities as a base to explore
Wanted a few days to chill out & ideal for this
As walking stuck to local area but would like to come back & explore the coastline of North Berwick & surrounding areas further
Great apartment with all the up to date equipment. It was very clean. The beds were comfy. It is about 10 mins walk to all the shops and restaurants, but the Nether Abbey Hotel is about 2 mins away and does great food. Will definitely recommend to friends and family
Wonderful view overlooking the tee box at the 18th hole of West Links North Berwick GC and the Firth. Easy walk into the center of town, to the golf club and to the beach. The home was comfortable and met our needs for our golf trip to the area.
Excellent location, close to beach, town centre amenities and short walk to train station. Kitchen well equipped and apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and had lovely views. Quiet area. Parking spot was great to have too.
amazing location - close to north Berwick and other coastal towns. it was in a perfect location for total chill out. nothing around other than the farm. lovely rooms and a cosy fire to keep warm at night. we had an amazing time!!
The flat was amazing, so cozy, exceptionally clean and it had everything that you could want. The location was ideal, less than a minute from the flat to the main street in North Berwick. We would absolutely stay here again.
Great hotel with lovely staff. Breakfast had a good choice and food was delicious. Hotel well located with a short walk to the main area. All had a really enjoyable stay and will return in the future.
The hosts went above and beyond in helping me get around the area. They very kindly accommodated my desire to check in early. And they served a sumptuous and delicious breakfast.
We had a lovely stay here! the breakfast every morning was exceptional and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was also a great option for us.
The location of the cottage is stunning, right on the beach. The village of North Berwick appears laid back and expensive. The people are freindly. The views are exceptional.
Great little cottage for four golfers visiting East Lothian for a few days, would highly recommend. Ideal location for walking into town, great views from the lounge area.
