One of the first Bali resorts, Kuta has a long, sandy beach and great nightlife - reasons why it’s one of Indonesia’s top tourist spots.
Another popular draw is Kuta surfing. From gentle rollers to lefthanders, the waves are great for all abilities. Several shops in town sell big-brand surf gear at knockdown prices, while other shopping options include Kuta Square, Discovery Mall and Bali Mall Galleria.
There’s also no shortage of places to eat. Street vendors offer local fare, while international cuisine is served in restaurants of the Kuta hotels on Booking.com. When the sun goes down, the heat goes up, as the bars and clubs in party zone Jalan Legian kick into life. For something more refined, the bars by Kuta Beach waterfont are a great spot to watch the sunset with a refreshing cocktail.
If you’re up early enough to see the Sanur Beach sunrise, you might get to see locals throwing traditional offerings into the sea. Spirituality is a big part of Balinese life and there are yoga and meditation classes, not to mention spas to revive the senses.
The gateway to southern Bali, Denpasar Airport is right on the edge of the town, so it won’t be long before you can stretch out and soak up the sun.

Kuta is re establishing itself after being decimated from Covid lockdown see. Kuta beach is the cleanest I have ever seen it in 10 years they are working hard to keep the beaches clean. It felt similar to Seminyak. The beach s not as good, in that it does not have restaurants on the beach like Seminyk has. Kuta beach mall is nice if you're looking to shop brands and pay western prices. There are plenty of restaurants in Kuta, plenty of tourist shops, plenty of tour booking angencies, currency exchange etc... Very convinient in that it is not far from the airport and not far from Waterbom water park.

There was no late night noise, very peaceful. Shower was lovely, warm water whenever we wanted it. We liked the Indian restaurant over the road. We did not visit the beach this time, due to reports of harassment by sellers. we were only there 3 days, so hopefully net time we will have a good walk around. We really love Bali and hope we can come back in the future. We will always stay at Febri's. It would be especially good if you provided transport to and from Airport, and we would be more than willing to pay for this. Excellent location / cozy and spacious well appointed room. Srprisingly universal adopters were provided in the working table. Big advantage when you realise that you are not carrying one. Excellent spread of items for Breakfast. Dinner from Indian restaurant Rang Mahal was great. We were Upgraded to Suite room on second day. Family room also was good but Suite room was better as there was smart TV, Especially on Nepesi day 11th March when all TV transmission was stopped. The next building was the mall, when you cross the streat there is Kuta beach, which unfortunately is only for surfing due to big waves but the whole west past of Bali is only for surfing. When you cross the street there is plenty of cheap streetfood. The reastaurant of the hotel is one of the most common and visited in kuta, always lots of visitors and the food was fresh. When you forget your room card the staff is in front of your door to open it before you even reach your room, super quick service.

At 10am they had a little ceremony in honour of Grandma and they taught my mother how to weave palm leaves to make ceremonial ornaments. This made my mom's first day in Bali. We spent one night here after we flew in and we recommend it.

I walked quite a bit along the sea front and Bali Gardens definitely has the nicest outdoor and pool area of any of the hotels. We stayed in a garden view room on floor 4 which was nice and quiet. Hotel has little extras like a little shop and money changer on site and umbrellas for guests. The Boardwalk restaurant is located right on the sea edge. Excellent staff there and the food is also nice.
