Jodhpur has a rich cultural heritage and the people of Jodhpur are lovely. My favourite experience was visiting Mehrangarh Fort, it was beautiful. My guided tour was provided by a knowledgeable guide, Nagendar Singh. Getting around the place was fairly easy. I was also pleased with my stay at Ranbanka Palace Hotel. I also got to try the local cuisine.

Jodhpur is a small but beautiful city with almost all tourist places close to each other. One could enjoy quality time calmly. One can plan for short term holidays. In two days almost all the beautiful places could be covered up and can enjoy authentic Rajasthani food too. Recommended to visit during winter.

After stays in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur it was a relief to come to Jodhpur. The city was full of interesting streets and markets to explore, fascinating history and architecture, with a grand fort on top of the hill.
We stayed for 2 days and enjoyed a walking tour of the city at night, an adrenaline-filled morning ziplining up at the fort and a 4 hour visit to Bishnoi village and the surrounding area. We would have happily stayed for another day or two if we had had the time.
We stayed in Khamma Heritage, in the heart of the old city, a very nice small hotel with lovely owners.
On the advice of others we ate one evening meal on the rooftop at Hotel Indique, in Pal Haveli. It was fantastic, with a wide range of Indian and non-Indian food and a good drinks menu. Blankets and heaters provided plenty of warmth on a chilly evening and the views were wonderful.

2 days are enough to cover Jophpur.
2 days are enough to cover Jophpur.
The locals are nice and friendly. I would suggest not to take big car to jodhpur as the streets are too narrow in the old city area (where most of the tourist spots are). If possible rent a two-wheeler there and cover all the spots otherwise you can also get autos.
You can visit Osian district where you can enjoy desert safari and cultural programs (food, dance, singing). There is a famous sachchai mata temple there. Its a must visit (very clean and quite with a beautiful view of the city).
Food:
Must tries-Vijay Restaurant (ask for their specials and they will recommend you the best, do ask for lassan ki chatni), Mishrilal lassi wala (try their Malayi lassi-just amazing). Rajasthani thali
Local finds: Pyaaz ki kachori, mewa kachori (if you are sweet tooth), mirchi bada, daal bada and kabuli.

We loved the city.
We loved the city. It was much cleaner than other indian cities. And it is walkable! You can see the pride of the people here to live here. Also lots of places for shopping and most cafe's have rooftop terraces. Always great view while eating.
If I could rate this property more than 10, I would! it was definitely the best stay I had during my trip in India…the host and his family are the kindest people, always with a smile, always ready to help you if you have any questions. The building is outstanding, everything is beautiful there and very clean. You can have a stunning view of Jodhpur from the rooftop.. rooms are just perfect in everything and breakfast was delicious. If you are planning to visit Jodhpur, this is the place where you have to stay.
A fantasticly well preserved, stunning, spotless and blissfully peaceful period residence and gardens.
A real haven from the relative chaos of an Indian city.
The most beautiful swimming pool and surroundings that you'd be hard- pressed to better.
Delicious breakfast varying in selection daily with the option of eating it in the lovely garden
The warmest welcome and the most attentive and polite staff.
By far the best hotel we stayed in in our entire 3 week tour of Rajasthan.
All in all perfect.
We stayed at Krishna Prakash for two nights while in Jodhpur and enjoyed our stay. There were many travelers there and it was great having a restaurant upstairs that served lunch and dinner. The view to the Fort was amazing! For being in the center of town, it was actually a quiet place to stay. We had no issues with noise and slept comfortably both nights. The room was clean and spacious and wifi worked well. We did have the hotel help with laundry and they returned it same-day.
I don't have words to express the gratitude to Entire hotel staff. They have treated me like their own family members. The Hotel is beyond expectations. If someone is tired than best place to stay is Blue Stay Jodhpur. Property owner Mr. Shubham is always on his toes to welcome the guests anytime.
Food is extraordinary here. Taste is excellent.
Overall I should say even 100 Stars will be less to rate this property.
Awesome stay.
Thanks 👍
Hill View Homestay has a great location ,just steps from the fort with an amazing view overlooking jodhpur. The food is great, the owner is incredibly accommodating. The rooms were nice and comfortable. It was one of the best stays we had during our time in India, as it was in our price range ans exceeded all of our expectation.
Best place to stay in jodhpur and 5 mins walking distance mehrangard fort and clock tower.
An incredibly charming hotel in the heart of Jodhpur. A magical view of the fort and the blue city. Not in the old city but very good location close to the fort (walking distance) and only 5min tuktuk to the old city. Great room, incredibly clean and comfortable! A little bit noisy but it's Jodhpur... Amazing food and service! Guests from other hotels were coming eating to their rooftop restaurant! Best staff!
If you would like accommodation that feels authentic then this the place to stay. The family live downstairs and the rooms are upstairs. There is an rooftop terrace with spectacular view. The food is simple and authentic. The family are beautiful and welcoming. We had the most wonderful stay here. Do not expect luxury hotel but you get the real feel of India. Thank you AJ and VJ and family.
The hotel was a bargain for the money & the restaurant is also incredible with beautiful views over the Merangah Fort.
We had an issue with our first room which was fixed immediately and we were moved, the hospitality of this place is second to none.
One of the best places we’ve stayed in India, a stone throw away from everything & painted blue to fit the asthetic of the city.
This boutique hotel is a peaceful gem tucked into the busy city. We stayed here for our first visit to Jodhpur visiting from the US. The property is so thoughtfully decorated with vines and flowers climbing the wall. The A/C and the shower were very good and the staff was very attentive to our needs, including special requests during breakfast and making reservations for food.
The room was lovely and original and it smells very good. The hotel also has a cafe that serves the best cafes that I've ever had in India and menu is extensive. But finally the best of this place is the host. He is very friendly and helped us a lot in all of what we asked for.
Very authentic place to stay in Jodhpur. The building is an old Haveli, with its own history and charm. The views from the rooftop are among the best in Jodhpur. Staff was great, very friendly and flexible with our requests. Most welcoming accomodation of our India trip
The BEST hotel in Jodhpur! The family who lives at the property is so so so kind. AJ was exceptionally nice and helpful. We arrived early on the check-in day, and AJ let us to do the early check. Thank you to the wonderful family and AJ!
An inspiring family from Nepal running this hotel. Great welcoming, great staff, decent rooms and best budget stay overall with maintenance of royal and old heritage look. Most beautiful is the roof top view.
Banasa heritage haveli's staff is so kind and humble.I give 5 star rating to them. Very easy accessibility to the fort and clock tower market. Interior design of room was very very good.
Best guest house in Jodhpur city. I'm gonna give 5 star to this guest house. Overall good experience....thank u sunshine guest house for best service.....❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful hotel...the rooms are pleasant and the grounds and common areas are exceptional. However the best part about our stay was the kind and attentive staff!
