Perfect location for visiting the Palace. Lovely staff. Went out of their way to make us comfortable (gluten free toast for my wife...hard boiled eggs on request) Held our luggage long past check out so we could spend the day at the Palace and not have to rush to pack up the car. Stay here! We had a really nice extra sized room ...worth it for comfort!

The palace was amazing, the town was great but it is also a quiet relaxed place but close to Naples, Caiazzo, etc. if we’d know it was as close to places we would have booked 3-5 nights there. The breakfast was great.

We went to see the castle.
We went to see the castle. Apart from the castle and grounds, which are spectacular and worth the trip is you are an architecture and garden enthusiast, the town itself didn’t seem to have much going on. There is an historic center and a bit of shopping, but Caserta itself is not an old city. We did not go to the old town, Caserta Vecchio, which is a few kilometers away our purpose in going was to visit the castle & Grounds, which did not disappoint.

The Royal palace definitely is worth the trip.
The Royal palace definitely is worth the trip. It certainly rivals Versailles. The apartments seem endless with so much opulence you can hardly take it all in. The grounds cover 4 km walking in a straight line and give a telescopic view and impression. The marble statues at all the fountains and inside the palace blow your mind. This is a must to visit. Useful tip, they have golf buggy tours very cheap for those that don’t want to walk the 8 km round trip. Also you can hire bikes.Tge English Garden at the end of the long avenue is gorgeous.

The historic center is quiet, pleasant and very nice to walk around. We stayed in I Borbone on Corso Trieste , 400 meters from the Palace . There are trees along the street, good shops and good restaurants. The people everywhere were friendly and helpful. We liked our stay. We came because of the palace which was worthwhile visiting and we’re glad we stayed for the night. We ate at Umami which was very good. I have visited a hairdresser salon “balmain” which was v good .
We had a junior suite, and it faced the piazza. It was a fabulous room, the beds were very comfortable. The walk-in wardrobe was a great addition to store away the suitcases. We also had a large balcony with sofas and a table. It was lovely to sit there in an evening and relax. Also to have a fridge was an added bonus too. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. It was our first time in Caserta and we will definitely return to this hotel on our next trip there.
This is one of the nicest hotels in Caserta, I would say. I was welcomed by the front desk in a very warm way. The room I had was very spacious and comfortable. They had a shower stall that could close up. It might seem small for some, but I actually liked it because it created like a sauna in the shower capsule-and there was a variety of jets you could use. There was even a seat in the shower for people who might have trouble with mobility. There was free parking and the hotel was easy to find from the highway.
Hotel Plana was comfortable and very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and the selection of food available was particularly good. The ladies who served breakfast, Jurate and Margo, were great and could not do enough to help.
Bedroom was a good size and en suite facilities were good.
The welcoming snacks and drinks in the fridge are ridiculously abundant! You literally can get anything you want in the kitchen (and bathroom ). Both AC units are very powerful during the summer. The host is also very helpful and responsive. Definitely will go back again if we have friends visiting Caserta. Grazie mille!
My whole stay at Al Centro was great. It was self check-in but Sharon was on hand to answer any questions and give me all the information needed.
The hotel was in a great location near the palace and a nice bit of town. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
Marina is a wonderful host and we enjoyed our one night in Casertaveccia. She also cooks up a massive and delicious breakfast that will fill you for the rest of the day. For the price, it can’t be beat. You can even park right in front if there is room on the street.
Great small boutique hotel a stones throw from Reggia Di Caserta. We had a lovely stay here. Rita made a very nice breakfast for us and was very nice to talk to. We stayed 2 nights here. The room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
Great location, within easy walking distance of the Reggia. We had a very spacious extremely comfortable room, and bathroom.Staff recomended some excellent nearby restaurants.A very good breakfast was provided that fully complimented this quality hotel.
Nicely decorated room and clean hotel, with garden, swimming pool which gives a great atmosphere and an underground parking. We stayed for one night and had a great experience. Staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
Very nice clean and technically advanced B&B hotel in Caserta with spacious common kitchen and sofa area. Good italian breakfast is included and snacks / drinks in the fridge are provided. The host is very pleasant and responsive.
The location of the hotel is excellent if you want to visit the Reggia. But their strong point is the staff. Signora Carla was super helpful in helping us to organize our visit. the food was also great.
The property was a fantastically grand apartment with gorgeous balconies and a full kitchen. The location was central in Caserta, a 15-min walk from the train, and near dozens of restaurants.
We found an excellent restaurant, with local food and the most welcoming and hosts, Michele la Cremeria in San Leucio. It was about a 20 minute walk from the hotel.
