But I paid for the dinner in Japanese style. But the foods are not good.

Didn’t like it in late February.
Didn’t like it in late February. The only thing to do is go to the onsen, some of the hotels will grant you access for a small fee if you’re not staying there.
There is a boat tour (looks like a princess castle, sort of weird), pricey and so so boring, they don’t even go all around the lake and it doesn’t stop for you to step on the islands.
Overall, very sad town in February.

Taking a slow stroll along the lakeside with cooling breeze blowing towards you is refreshing and makes you feel so free.
A must visit to Mount Usu taking the cable car and walking along the Ropeway is scenic.
A short drive of about 10 minutes from Lake Toya there is a Little Farm that serves very good ice cream, coffee and pizza. Children loves the goats in this farm land.

Beautiful and scenic but you are not allowed to swim in the lake because it is a Unesco site. I was unable to Google this info so I'm sharing it here. It is 90 degrees here today so that sucks. They don't mind you dipping your feet but there are no swimming beaches. You can get wet if you are boating or on SUPboard. I probably would’ve toured another part of the country if I knew I couldn’t swim in the lake in the middle of an extremely hot summer. the south of like Toya is filled with Asian tourists. We enjoyed the quiet north side.

Exceptional room to wake up in every morning, with a full view of Lake Toya. Soaking in the hot bath in the room and enjoying the fireworks nightly is indeed a pleasure. Service staff are helpful and polite, and the meals are sumptuous. Indeed a memorable experience.

It was nice generally.
It was nice generally. It offers a great view if the weather is clear and not foggy. We were there on 30/12/23 it was winter, weather was cloudy foggy and snowing and we can’t see much. Anyway we enjoy strolling along the lake side with snowfall, feels so peaceful, romantic and beautiful. We went to Mt Usu by using the ropeway. We was at the crater unfortunately it was covered with a thick snow so we didn’t get what we want to see. If I happen to travel to Lake Toya again, I would like to try hiking.
The owner was waiting for us at the exact time we told him we'll arrive. We got sweets and discount tickets to onsen. I was amazed by that onsen hotel, Infinity rooftop pool, it was fantastic. We had a car, the lake and shops are in a 3 min drive. The hotel is quite old, but everything was good. Clean bed sheets, warm, bright, no smoke smell in the room, silent at night. We were travelling with a 1 year-old toddler, it was safe for her too. There is a loft in the room, we did not use it.
One of the best properties we've visited in our travels in Japan. Modern, clean, spacious. View of Lake Toya was breathtaking, especially with full view of the nightly fireworks. Breakfast/dinner buffets had so many choices/stations and were delicious, with a spectacular view of the lake while dining. Onsen was lovely, especially the open air bath at the top of the hotel where you can see the stars at night. We regret only staying for one night.
The owner was absolutely lovely! The rooms were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for getting to the grand onsen, and wasn't far from several bus stops to get around Lake Toya. There is a coin laundry and a great sushi place next door. We were allowed to store our bags in the laundry on the day of check out, which helped up make the most of our last day.
Would 110% stay here again
This hotel is new, modern, clean and comfy! In room personal onsen with stunning view from the balcony. Excellent service from all staff.
Just to keep in mind that dinner included is buffet dinner rather than kaiseki dinner usually other onsen hotels offer, but regardless, the food at the buffet (dinner and breakfast) was so good and tasty!
Definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back in the future!
The hotel room is big and without a lake view; blocked by other more expensive hotels located in front of Lake Toya. Nevertheless, it is a popular hotel due to the short walk to the Lake.
The Onsen facility is great and breakfast is also good. Great welcome drinks and snacks are provided to all Hotel guests.
Small guesthouse run by a very friendly landlady. The premises were well heated so I wasn't cold at all even though it was a cold winter night. The landlady also provided discount coupons to the onsen at the hotel next to the guesthouse, which was fantastic. There're also many restaurants nearby.
The Japanese-style room was just big enough for our family of five. The a/c worked well. Buffet breakfasts offered a wide array of Japanese options and some western-style ones too. The multiple onsen were terrific and well-utilized by the guests. Great location with shops right in the lobby.
Everything! Spacious and clean room. The view overlooking Lake Toya was just perfect! The room was so comfortable. Definitely one of the highlights of our hokkaido trip! It’s around 15 mins drive to the town area but we loved the quiet and relaxing surroundings here!
It is within driving distance to the onsen town where the fireworks were. I would love to stay over again for a bit longer next time and to enjoy Lake Toya more on a walk. The house itself meets everything I expected from a beautiful vacation house.
Buffet food and quality is good. Staff are helpful and very polite. No problem with their front line staff in term of English speaking. Very good location, can get very good front view Lake Toya. Like the onsen too, clean and have outdoor pool.
The Onsen on the 8th floor is amazing, sadly it’s open to female guests only between 3pm to 2am - so sunrise view for male guests. The room is a great combination of transitional style and functonality.
good location on the hill that you can see lake Toya ,amazing view in the morning, clean , warm welcome from staff.no breakfast but no problem you can buy from minimart and there are microwave here.
The first row with a view of Lake Toya, with Chinese-speaking service staff. Breakfast and dinner are very rich for one hotel and two meals. I am very satisfied with my second stay.
Staff, meals, the excellent onsen, sauna and ice bath and the location. We loved it and the happy hour sake and snacks were a lovely touch in the relaxing lounge area.
Fantastic views of Lake Toya from our room, great coffee and tea provided in the room, private outdoor balcony Onsen. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent!
This Onsen hotel is right in front of lake Toya so we had a beautiful view of the lake from our room. It’s also very convenient for watching the summer fireworks.
