We were hiking on the Pieterpad and this hotel was a lovely stop, perfectly located on the trail path. The room is decorated with taste, all neatly prepared and clean, and the breakfast offers a great variety of food with a relaxing setting, music, and a smiley staff. We also got some great advice for our hike routes, thanks a lot to Perron 22 for this experience :)

It was on a quiet location on the edge in a suburb. The view was nice, large garden and the neighbours have Emus.
Overall the B&B is very cosy and the bed very comfortable!

Venray appears very new - comparatively modern buildings - but it is definitely a weekend social centre with lots of cafes and restaurants.
It also is quite a shopping town with lots of different shops ranged between the two main 'squares'.
Heavily pedestrianised and loads of bicycles (it is Holland after all) it is a great place to stop and take a coffee.
I can't advise about car parking as it was a short walk from the Hotel to the town so did stroll around a lot.
There a quite a number of fascinating sculptures - including one that looked like a Hare and had a poem attached!
Try the Greek Restaurant int the Square - great food and good value

Venray town centre is vibrant with a wide selection of cafes and bars - and a superb ale bar (Goesting). The town has a friendly feel and is clean and tidy with the large church with its carillion chiming out regularly. We were there to see the nearby Overloon War Graves Cemetery - and there is another in Venray itself. They are well worth a visit - as well as the massive cemetery for the 32,750 German soldiers who died in the Netherlands at Ysselsteyn - also worth a visit to get a sense of the sheer scale of the loss of life - most on both sides being conscripts with no choice but to fight. The Overloon War Museum is immense with many interesting exhibits. Give yourself plenty of time to see it.
Lots of car-parking space upon arrival close to the front door despite the Hotel being fully booked.
At check-in the Hotel was busy so a little patience was required. Owing to a major function also taking place here we were sorted by the Manager who has a great sense of humour.
He got the Bar opened quickly and organised a table for all of us at a local restaurant (I forgot to mention there were 12 of us!) On a busy Saturday evening.
He even organised early breakfast for us as we were attending a local event.
The hotel was in an ideal location - quiet yet not too far from the centre of Venray to walk to the restaurants there. The breakfasts were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and the TV even had an English station. We had a small gathering of 5 friends from the local area on our first evening and the service then was good. The indoor courtyard area was very pleasant to sit in for that.
Located conveniently across from the Schouwburg Venray, our stay at this comfortable and cosy hotel was delightful, enhanced by the lively atmosphere of the restaurant. With its ideal location and great value for money, it's definitely a top choice for any traveller visiting Venray.
Even though the rooms where right above the terrace, I didn't notice any noise. I loved it that the rooms were very soundproof. The rooms were clean and well maintained.
The staff was helpfull and friendly. Location was great, parking was near the hotel.
Nice cozy hotel. Very quiet and less than 1km away from central. Room has both heater and aircon and clean. They allowed the bicycle to be stored inside for the night.
Nice, spacious rooms. Well-equipped hotel. The staff were able to handle our party for dinner and even managed to find a solution when 4 further friends joined us.
