Parking right in front of the hotel. The room was amazing and we even got upgraded to a room with balcony which was lovely. The staff was very nice and polite. Despite the dinner menu not having many options the venison burger was phenomenal, and the included breakfast had plenty of options too. The bed were comfy and shower amazing, both shampoo/shower gel and conditioner were available.

I traveled with my family (5 people) and we liked everything. Everything in the apartment was perfect. Location in a quiet place between two mountains, the temperature was good, Kitchen was well equipped, internet and tv worked fined. I recommend this place to anyone travelling to Flåm by car.

Not far from the city of Flam, should have rented a car so it gives you a very convenience to get to the place.
We got an entire lower house with plenty of rooms. Huge living room and kitchen. A very well equipped kitchen and dining table. Cant even ask for more from here.

The location and view is awesome. It has beautiful mountain and lake view cottages. All the cottages are beautiful. You can lie down in your bed and look at the mountains. The location is much better than hotels in Flåm. Please note it is in Aurland.

Great location with a fantastic view on the fjord, away from the hustle and bustle of Flam, however, can be slightly tricky to get around, although you just need to book onto the shuttle bus for a small fee in reality, so it's not that big of a deal.

Aurland is a small village situated in a beautiful fjord environment sorrounded by dramatic landscape. Flaam and Stegastein Viewpoint are in the vicinity of Aurland. The best way to see the fjord landscape is from above. Spectacular scenary.

Aurland was super pretty.
Aurland was super pretty. Definitely happy then we didn't stay at Flam, the view and town was amazing. There is a fun steep hike to take with a nice cottage along the way. Even though the weather was pretty rainy, we enjoy our stay with a cozy atmospheric mood. Only difficulty was the bus ride from Flam to Aurland, because we weren't sure from where the bus is going and then it came late, so that was a bit stressful. Also we definitely recommend the little Flam bakeri with delicious cinnamon buns!ŠárkaCzech Republic - 10Scored 10

Beautiful and loved staying here. Cute town and lots nearby. If you have a car it's so easy to drive between towns and various hiking spots. If you don't you can catch buses or the ferries to get to and from flam. I didn't find this hard in high season with the ferries but the buses were a bit confusing. They seem to run until 7 or so be careful not to miss it. .there's a grocery store that's well equipped, a great bakery and pretty much all you need for a quiet stay.

This place is a must-visit.
This place is a must-visit. It's quiet, but not too quiet—its what we Swedes would call "Lagom" We originally traveled to Aurland because my fiancé and I felt very depressed. City life can do that to you. We wanted to feel closer to nature, and Aurland was perfect for that. It was very therapeutic to climb the mountains, go on the "fjord" safari on the water, and eat goat cheese pizza in Undredal. Our visit to Aurland made us fall in sync with nature again. The people living there were friendly(I think Norwegians overall are much friendlier than Swedes), and now we are honestly considering moving to Norway—that's how good the trip was. Excellent place!

It was really a mountain house located away from Flam and Aurland, pretty close to the Stegastein overlook. If you're traveling with a bunch of people or larger family this would be a great match since it sleeps a bunch - 4 BRs I think with kitchen and living room and TV. It's rural, as we needed to close the gate to keep the sheep out, but that added to the charm for us. This place worked out well and was fun for us to stay at.

The property is a converted farm where you’ll feel like a local during your stay. Our room was cute and a perfect size. You can walk about 20 minutes away to an incredible waterfall you can see up close. And the owner is fantastic and sociable. People come from all around the world to see what you'll see from your bedroom and living room. The apartment is also very large, very clean, warm and comfortable. Adorable sheep farm in the back. The town of Aurland is very close with restaurants, a cafe and a supermarket. Flam is 15 minutes away by car, very easy to reach. Incredible value for money. My 2 kids loved each having their own bedroom. I also loved the simple and short drive to Flam from here. The price is great too for such a wonderful location. Despite anything I wasn’t crazy about with the property, the pros certainly outweigh the cons!

There is also a shared kitchen. The views on the fjords are very nice. There is a food truck with very good meals, with thai curry. In Aurland, supermarket and good bakery. The owner is very nice and gave us good advices for walks nearby, with good fjord views.
