This is a hotel in a tenement house between the castle and the university and opposite a shopping centre. It is about 8 minutes walk from the town square and a few steps to the Artist Square (the actual figures are in the grounds between the church and the university not in the actual square). The room was very big, had a table and an armchair in addition to the bed. Two large windows looked onto the castle and the church. The bathroom was huge. The breakfast was large and very tasty. There is a little bar at the reception desk.

There are so many nice things about this small city.
There are so many nice things about this small city. Firstly, an awesome railway station. The walk along Krakowska to the centre is really nice and there are some good shops and bakeries. A walk along the river to the centre is even nicer. The architecture is interesting - Polish, Austro Hungarian, German, Italianate and central European. Look out for some interesting glass and plaster works on one of the buildings in the Maly Rynek. There is a war memorial in the Maly Rynek - from the Communist Era - and it is very imposing. There are lots of small fountains, sculptures, and little details everywhere.

Opole is peaceful and serene as you walk along the tree lined canal toward the old town. Opole has the balance right. Although you are in a city, you have the feeling of a small town but with all the desired amenities nearby. Yes, Opole has tourism but not the overwhelming tourism that confronts us in other popular destinations. If you are a tourist, there is no shortage of places to see or good restaurants. And as with much of Poland, value for money is dramatically better than the rest of Europe.

Small and compact with plenty to offer in terms of leisure activities and eating out. Some things to do include:
- Steamroom-like experience in "tężnia solankowa" in the Malinka neighbourhood
- Horseriding classes at "Ostroga" which is located just out of town
- Park at the bolko island for cycling, canoeing, skating, and visiting the zoo

We were lucky to see the colourful singing fountain in the centre as we were just walking by. Very beautiful. A night walk is worth taking, reflections in the water, romantic atmosphere. And the Zoo is pleasant too.

My stay in Opole, Poland was an absolute joy!
My stay in Opole, Poland was an absolute joy! Known as the 'Venice of Poland', this charming city on the banks of the Oder offers a fascinating mix of history, culture and natural beauty. The picturesque Old Town with its narrow streets and stunning Opole Cathedral transported me back in time. Exploring parks and green spaces like Bolko Island Park provided a peaceful escape, and the proximity of the Opawa Mountains added a touch of adventure. Thanks to the high standard of living and the pleasant atmosphere, my visit was really pleasant. Opole is a hidden gem that I highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and rewarding experience in Poland.

There is so much to do in Opole, if you like history, cycling, kayaking or a nice bar. Highly recommend restaurant Starka for traditional polish food and Grabówka for the most amazing Crepes this world has seen, both are by the river so adds to the whole experience.
The hotel has lived up to my expectations. My stay was pleasant and I felt very well there. The beds are wide, with comfortable mattresses. Bathroom is with a large shower. It is very clean in the room and you can make yourself a coffee or tea. There is a nice furniture at the hotel. I also recommend various good dishes in the restaurant, especially with duck. The great breakfast was very varied and I would like to praise a friendly staff. The restaurant is very nicely designed and has a beautiful veranda.
This country side hotel is just great! Located in a small and charming village, with a wonderful view of the surrounding fields.
Although there is no restaurant in the village, there is a grocery store. But in the nearby village, a 3-minute drive away, there is an exceptional pizzeria, and next to it a great bakery.
I recommend bringing groceries for an independent meal, the hotel has a kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare food and coffee.
- Best location in Opole, it's close to the park on Bolko island as well as the town centre. There's a fantastic crepe place called Grabówka 3 mins walk too.
- the flat is really modern and well decorated, with a really comfy double bed and sofa, and it's incredibly spacious.
- dishwasher
- two bathrooms!
- No issues with being able to check in 1 hour later than anticipated
- Really quiet area despite being close to the city centre.
Undoubtedly, the hotel's location is a true gem, nestled right in the city center and conveniently situated near key transportation hubs, including the train station, bus stops, and taxi stands. The staff left a lasting impression with their exceptional professionalism and willingness to assist, making me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. Additionally, the bathroom was impressively well-equipped, offering modern amenities.
This wonderful historical apartment made an enjoyable visit to Opole. The apartment has an opulent atmosphere of yesteryear.
Everything you need for a comfortable stay including a responsive host. Highly recommended for an extraordinary stay in one of Poland's finer smaller cities.
The location is great, not too far from station, close to river. Hotel has own parking, staff super friendly, room spacious and nice, tea and coffee in room, delicious breakfast with lots of fruit and fresh veggies. The related restaurant has a nice balcony with river view.
The hotel was perfectly located for us, the rooms were clean, tidy, and large. The 24 hour reception meant we had no concerns about our arrival time, and the welcome was friendly. Their micro brewery also makes excellent beer for the weary traveller to relax with!
This is hands down the best place in Opole if you are looking to stay out of hotels. It is spacious, spotless and brand new.
It was so well equipped it, everything you might need is there. We absolutely loved our stay and will be choosing this apartment again.
Lovely hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The sofa bed was plenty big enough for two teens to sleep on. Good choice of food at breakfast.
Located a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Opole, near to a shopping centre with a good selection of shops.
The room at this hotel was really nice (especially the bathtub). And the receptionist was very kind to leave us a key because we arrived past the time the office was open. The breakfast was decent.
Loved the spacious room and the amenities were above satisfactory. The staff was really helpful and overall the experience with the hotel has always been the best one!
Can't wait to visit again!
Great location, clean room with a comfortable bathroom. No problem with parking right near the hotel. Nice breakfests, even though there were not very cheep.
There's a lot of free parking space nearby. The hotel is quite. Rooms are clean and cozy, the price is good. About 25 mins of walking to the city center.
