The place was spotless, well maintained, and the staff was top notch. Between all the features available and the remarkably chill and friendly fellow guests, my wife and I never felt more relaxed after just 2 days at Mi Kasa. We will certainly be back, and often.

I am very pleased to be able to say that this year it was immediately apparent a lot of work had been carried out to bring the hotel back up to it's previous level. Good decoration, nice furniture, and the building in good condition. The pools were as always, really well looked after.

The pools were great. The room had an air conditioning problem - notified front desk of this when leaving. The AC blew warm air instead of cool. They were going to send maintenance to fix after. The resort was quiet in the evening and the food prices and value for food was very good. It was not too crowded and had a nice retro feel - like the old days when things were slower and more personable. They upgraded our room for no charge so we could have a better view of the pools. I would stay longer than a night next time - maybe 3 -4 nights would be perfect. I hope to come back some day.

The breakfast arrangements were very good. Well thought out and pleasurable.
The supply of iced water, mint lemonade, tea and coffee through the day and night were very welcome and a nice touch.
The swimming pool and hot pool were excellent and the supply of floats etc were also a thoughtful touch.

Desert Hot Springs itself is not the best area. There was lots of closed shops and litter everywhere. It is an ideal base to explore the wider area of Joshua Tree, Jacinta State Park and the surrounding canyons and El Morocco is a great.place to stay.
There is.a good Chinese restaurant close by and an excellent Mexican place in walking distance.

Desert Hot Springs is economically depressed compared to nearby Palm Springs. We stayed New Year's week, and a couple of the restaurants we had thought we'd try were still closed for the holidays. We selected Desert Hot Springs for the natural thermal water (apparently only one hotel in Palm Springs has genuine from-the earth hot water, but most in Desert Hot Springs do). If that's not important to you, stay in Palm Springs. We did two amazing hikes in the Indian Canyons near Palm Springs.

Desert Hot Springs is fine if you're coming specifically to a resort. The town itself is minimal, has few restaurants, and little entertainment. Close enough to Yucca Valley and Palm Springs for those things though.

I was taken aback by several experiences while on the property!
1) The entire property needs renovating and a quality check. For the pricing, furniture, decor and look should be at a higher and more pleasing level.
2) The food served at the restaurant was subpar at best. Lots of issues and food had to be returned and adjusted several times!?!
3) My largest issue was the caliber and presentation of the staff!!! I captured a video of a VERY LOADED Employee while there??? This employee, although very visibly high on something, wasn't asked to leave at all. She was simply asked to sit and fold napkins? She nodded off whole folding each individual napkin and practiced unsanitary habits while doing so!!!

We booked next door at Miracle Hot Springs but entered the room and the air wasn't cooling the room and was run down. Maintenance guy told us to take a shower and it would be fine. I had stayed at your hotel years ago and thought that's where I had booked a room. The staff was kind enough to transfer our reservation and we were very pleased with our room and service we received at Desert Hot Springs Hotel.
This was an older hotel/motel that appears to have been renovated. The renovations were done very well, the room was updated and clean. It was very quiet and peaceful. We were here for just one night, had business to attend to both days and this was the perfect place for a quiet stay. I didn't realize that the spas were mineral water or my husband and I may have booked an extra night to check it out.
They have 3 heated pools and hot spring tubs working 24/7. We love staying in the hot water for hours during cold winter nights. Not a lot of people so you can really enjoy the pool/tubs pretty much by yourself. The staff is nice and polite. Very quiet during the night. Everything is so great. Pretty hotel. They accept cats. The price is so nice too!! Definitely will come back.
we basically had the whole hotel for ourselves. it felt like renting a big villa and was great. the pool side is lovely. it’s in a quiet area. the room is really good and the whole setup is very cute. although the owner was not here, he made sure we managed to get all codes to get into the place. all the check in process was super easy and smooth.
what a great hotel with awesome hot spring pool and spas… well priced in comparison to other local hotels with similar hot spring pools and we did visit two others. Bedroom had a great bed and spacious bathroom with wonderful hot shower. superb heating / cooling and a Small bar fridge. check in was easy and stacks of on-site parking
Pools were very nice (and clean), which was the main reason for selecting this hotel. Staff circulated checking on pools the entire time we were soaking. Temperatures ranged from about 75 to 104 degrees, and they were not crowded. Area felt a bit sketchy, so the gated parking lot was a plus. 1950s vibe is cool.

A gem in the rough. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel/spa especially after a long day at Joshua Tree National park. Everything was top notch. Pool was heated and hot tub was spacious.
Room was fab and bed was comfy. We love being treated like royalty.
Good for bird watchers. Close to Joshua Tree NP, Thousand Palms Oasis, Mt San Jacinto Aerial Tram, and Big Morango Canyon Preserve. The resort has many palms, is very quiet at night, and wonderful hot pools therapeutic for your arthritis pain.
The hotel was great! Very clean room. And the pools and hot tubs were amazing!
Very good location, close to grocery store, pharmacy Starbucks.... Parking was also very good.
A very good option for those who go to Joshua Tree and want comfort.
It was such a small, nice hotel. Every time we used the pools we were the only one’s there.
We also liked the fact that we could bring our little dog and they don’t have a pet fee. There is a nice fenced in pet area in the garden.
The variety of pools and spa amenities were amazing and the area with the mineral hot springs was top notch. Never experienced a heated salt room or ice room before, very rejuvenating. Staff was great.
