We chose this charming hotel on a Boston stopover because we had to wait for our evening flight the next day and wanted to be in a walkable area. The staff was very friendly and check in was easy. The room was perfectly clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant because we weren't there at the dinner hour (we arrived late) but it looked quite nice. After check out we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and walk by the sea (wonderful!) and around town, grabbing a great breakfast at a local cafe the hotel recommended. Basically we were treated like extended family and were offered water or a soft drink from the bar while we later lounged in the waiting area. As we were waiting for the time to leave for the airport we got talking to a personable older gentleman... turns out he is the hotel owner's father. He then offered us a ride to the airport and wouldn't take a dime from us.

It had an excellent location for sightseeing and shining Boston. The staff were excellent and very friendly. There is a coffee shop attached which served good coffee/tea and breakfast, all at a reasonable price. Would recommend to anybody who asked where to stay I Boston.

The room was pleasant and spacious. Only a little annoying when the garbage truck came around 5:30am. It would have been nicer to be higher up. The location is perfect!
