The location was fantastic for hiking on one of HK’s off-the-beaten track islands. Larry, the guesthouse owner, was extraordinarily kind, warm, and proactive in helping me get the most out of my one day/night on the island, giving detailed instructions on how to get around the island by bus, etc. This made my visit so much more pleasurable than I would have had at a larger chain hotel, even one with fancier amenities.

Our stay here has been really great. Michael is a lovely host. We were welcomed with a delicious dinner which completely blew us over. The kids still miss the bread which was baked for us. The connectivity is good and we used buses for commuting everywhere. Michael is very helpful and even called a cab for us back to the airport.

The hotel owners and staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would go there again on our next visit. We were mainly there for the hiking - which was very good,
