The property is in a gorgeous location overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. Lots of options for hiking and sightseeing nearby. Cozy and comfortable cabin had everything we needed. I’m so glad that we booked 2 nights - you’ll regret leaving after just one night. We didn’t see the lake monster, but did have beautiful aurora borealis shows both nights. This was our favorite place to stay on our whole trip around Iceland.

The property is located in beautiful and natural surroundings. one of our best stays in Iceland! to top it all the owner Asdis is a wonderful person who had great tips and was always available for help. She makes yummy chia and fruit yoghurt! The property has a hot tub in the beautiful outdoors and we had the most relaxing time enjoying it! A must go place if you plan to be in the area!

Really easy to find. The owners also send us really good descriptions how we can get into this little cozy house. The place was lovely and we highly recomended this stay.

A very nice and spacious cottage just on the ring road. Large kitchen with a dishwasher, but no oven (it would be nice to change the picture). There is also a terrace with a magnificent view! The owner provided very detailed information how to find the house and a code to get in. All in all, we felt very comfortable and welcome and would be happy to return some day:)

Great location and convenient spot on our Ring Road tour. Gave us a bit of extra space with our teens which was nice. Clean and comfortable and I loved the Iceland pillow cases! Highly recommend.
