Offering a garden and sun terrace, Cal Batlle Casa Rural is located in La Cortinada, 8 km from Andorra la Vella and 20 minutes' drive from Vallnord Ski Area. The location is perfect, very quiet and peaceful. The host was great and very welcoming. We stayed just for a couple of days in between other places but if we had had more time we would have hiked a bit as this area is perfect for it and the whole atmosphere of it is towards outdoor activities. The parking is great you just need to pass through a narrow turn (if you don't think you should take the turn behind the house, yes you should) that is fine as soon as you pass it and get comfortable with it.

It is a perfect central location to explore Andorra with easy access to Pal Vallnord for Downhill mountain biking and Ordino Arcadis (to explore the Tristaina area). Julie is a lovely host : very friendly and helpful, providing lots of information on the area and suggestions for walks. Casa Mariola is a very old house, a listed building with lots of character and authenticity and a small outdoor area. The windows in the property are quite small, which limits the amount of light in the house. There is a lovely square next to the house with benches and nice view on the mountains.

Set just 5 minutes’ walk from the Pal-Arinsal Ski Lifts, Chalet Las Avellanas features a private garden with a furnished terrace and barbecue facilities. Andorra La Vella is a 15-minute drive away. The location was right in the centre & next to the ski lift, whilst feeling secluded and out of the way of the hustle and bustle. It was very modern chalet that was brilliantly well finished throughout and a good size - perfect for a group of skiers like ourselves. Wonderful stay overall, we couldn't provide a more glowing reference and wouldn't change a thing.

Big Chalet perfect for 2 families - well equipped kitchen and big table to eat together. warm with enough hot water. great for skiing. 10 minute walk to the Gondola but hire a ski locker at the top so no need to carry equipment.
