The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. We stayed one night. I don't think I've ever felt more welcome than in that hotel.

And soon as you walk through the door the cottage is elegant decorated and very cosy. With the hot tub on a private balcony I’ll definitely be booking to stay again left feeling completely relaxed

Our hosts went out of their way to help us. We had an incident where the tire of our rental car blew out leaving us without access to a shop and no food in the cabin. They kindly provided us with a lasagne from their freezer which genuinely saved the evening for us.

The house was beautiful, loved the decor and had all the facilities you needed. The hot tub was lovely to use, especially after a long day of exploring. Kept updated by the host by messages and got all the instructions for the stay and top tips for the area. Would definitely stay again.

Oferecendo vista do mar, a Lovely coast house in the western lake district minimum 3 night stay é uma acomodação localizada em St Bees, a 2,3 km da praia de Fleswick Bay e a 25 km de Wasdale. Outstanding property. Well equipped, very clean, quiet, comfortable, safe, and well decorated. Good wifi (we were able to stream Amazon Prime video with no problem) St. Bees is a premier destination in the western Lake District, and we're were glad to score this stay. Would love to come back sometime.
