Trish took great care of us, especially my daughter, giving her time with the horses and donkeys and making her feel part of the family atmosphere they have in the stables. Unfortunately, Jon was not there during our stay, but still maintained an excellent job with the communication.

Good sized en suite shower room. Great to have the option of a shared lounge/kitchen area as well. Plenty of places to eat/drink right on the doorstep.

Very clean place and plenty of towels to use!! Loved the fireplace!! Good value for money and had a lovely surprise with bits of food left for us which was an added bonus!! Only a short walk to the river!! Very close to the train station too if you’re interested going into Newcastle only 30 mins away!! Overall loved our stay!!
