A big variety of great food, also some products that were totally new for us. A big quantity as well, nobody will leave a house hungry! Also, Sheelagh was very welcoming and when we asked to stay a bit longer in her house than check out time, she agreed and even offered extra coffee. Very nice stay, highly recommended!

Donald also thought ahead and saw that we were Australian and figured we would not be faring too well in the cold so set up the heating ahead of time to make sure the house was warm before we arrived! Boasting a balcony with mountain views, a garden and a bar, Eilymaes can be found in Portmagee, close to Skellig Experience Centre and 16 km from O'Connell Memorial Church. The house was very big and comfortable. Just note that it is not barrier free like most of Irish country houses. The location is excellent, parking possible just in front of the house.
