Situated in Oshima and only 14 km from Oshima Park Zoo, 島の宿 近 〜KON〜 features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The house was very spacious, spotless and fully equipped with amenities, it was well maintained and decorated. Plug adapters for Japan were also provided and this helped a lot! Gracious hospitality of the host! He was one of the very best host you could even met! My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again when we visit Oshima next time! Everything was very easy. The location is great, and easy access to two train lines and a bus line right outside. Very convenient to vending machines in the area and convenience stores. It was easy for us to get around Tokyo and see and do everything we wanted. Very convenient for Disney, Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree. Akihabara was about 30 mins, other major destinations up to an hour. I would really recommend anyone using this House to get a Suica or Pasmo card when they arrive in Japan as it makes catching trains and busses a lot easier. The House is great, there are three reasonably large bedrooms and a kitchen/dining area. A Bathroom is attached to the Lanudry which doubles as a changing room. And there are 2 toilets one upstairs and the other downstairs. For a moderately large family I would highly recommend this as its low stress, conveniently located and exceptional value for 3 bedrooms.
