Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and lots of it! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, peaceful with a great view! The walk to town is about 20 minutes down and 35 minutes back up. Its not bad at all, but hot in the afternoon and if you are out of shape...frequent pauses. That distance did put you in a perfect peaceful spot with a spectacular view of the city and the mountains around. We came here after the confusion and challenge of Fez and this was a much appreciated retreat! Highly recommend!

Pokoje gościnne i łazienki bardzo schludne. Gospodarze Tiffini i Rabie bardzo gościnni, sympatyczni i pomocni. Ich piękny pies Bella, bardzo przyjazna i niesamowita. Tiffini to cudowna gospodyni, wyśmienicie gotuje. Posiłki były bardzo smaczne i obfite. Jest mi niezmiernie miło że mogłam tam spędzić i świętować moje specjalne urodzinki. Dziękuję za ten cudowny, domowy klimat. To był cudownie spędzony czas. Ciężko było wyjeżdżać. Na pewno wrócimy. Z całego serducha polecamy. Jeśli szukacie spokoju i ciszy, z dala od zgiełku to miejsce jest odpowiednie.

Smooth and friendly check-in with good communication. Smihi is a gem! Just a short walk following our host (up some steps though) from the ferry arrival. This property was spotless, has beautiful views, small alleys to discover, felt safe, and has enough tile and color to make a weary traveler excited and invigorated. Felt intentionally designed, carefully maintained, and so comfortable for our family of six. 10 days of travel in Portugal, Spain and Morocco and this was our only accommodation with a DRYER! ☺️ Smihi was helpful, accommodating and speaks excellent English. Wish we could have stayed longer!

He met us personally, and helped us settle in. The little house itself is lovely and in an immaculate condition. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare one's own meals and since there is also a big-screen TV, there is no need to go anywhere on stormy days. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful with lush pastures, hilly slopes and the wild Atlantic Ocean with its vast, sandy beach. The walk down the hill from the bus stop (we took a bus from Tangier, so the house can easily be reached without a car) is amazing. There are plenty of farm animals around, cows, sheep and hens, and many cats that we grew very fond of. There is also a little store by the highway (less than 1 km from the house), where you can get basic foodstuffs (water, bread, eggs, milk, some vegetables, etc.). Overall, Hicham's place is ideal for those guests who like some peace and quiet, and want to experience Morocco's beauty in a less touristy area on the Atlantic beach.

We ended up at this property at 8:45pm as a last minute change. They prepared a delicious dinner for us and settled us in to a basic but comfortable 2-bed apartment. It was incredible good value and our kids loved the animals. The hosts were very welcoming and we enjoyed a basic breakfast the next morning. Thanks for a great stay.

Ghislan, our host, was just perfect to welcome us at arrival. Breakfast carefully prepared by a local nice lady. Very good location in the middle of the souk, good access to the main square and cascade scenic point by foot.
