The drive up the mountain may not be for the faint of heart!

The property is non-smoking and is situated 2.7 km from The Flåm Railway. The location is absolutely fantastic with the view if the river and waterfalls from the windows. The house itself is super clean, tastefully furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. We will definitely be returning.

Animals like hens, cats and sheep can be seen on site. We had a wonderful stay at Flatheim. First we've booked for two nights and then expended to total four nights. Flatheim is a lovely and quiet space surrounded by beautiful nature. We loved our cozy apartment. A place to fully undwind and relax. Sigurd was very friendly, helpful and forthcoming. He cooked us two delicious dinners at Flatheim and breakfast was fresh and very nice too. Flatheim is right next to the Waterfall Trail Fossestien, which is worth a beautiful easy walk or long hike. We can recommend Flatheim very much.
