Peaceful and serene. No one around. An older cottage, but with modern facilities (fantastic bathroom, newer washer/dryer machines, comfy beds --enough for at least 4 people, probably more--, cozy living room with wood stove). Close enough to the 1 restaurant and 1 cafe/shop in Arthur's pass (1-minute drive), but away from the road so there's no traffic or other people. Great hosts with great communication.

Our unit was super clean, modern and the beds were comfortable. We liked the option of being able to take our dog, we decided not to this time though. Was thoughtful to have some drinks, chocolates, milk and biscuits ready for our arrival as well as some fresh eggs in the fridge. Having the use of the free washing machine and drier was fab.

Tracey was so friendly when we arrived and it was nice to be greeting. The accommodation was clean and immaculate, the cottage had a good shower and had all the amenities we needed for one night. I accidently left some sentimental jewellery at the cottage and Colin posted it back to me at no charge and was so helpful and kind as I was really upset that I had lost it. That is five star service and I would definitely stay here again.
