The cabins are in a remote area outside of town, you hear nothing but the sounds of nature and the views are beautiful. The place has only 3 cabins, so you really have peace and quiet. The cabins are very big, it has a huge living room, a big kitchen with all utilities you may need. It has a big verandah overlooking the empty land ahead. The lodge has a small restaurant and bar where you can get simple food and some drinks. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We only stayed for 1 night, but it was a great experience and I'd def. Book again

Joyce and her family are perfect hosts, food was amazing. We went on a hike with her son, who also arranged Mataruni trip at a good price. The place is cut off, but that's what we were looking for. We also managed a day of work online, connection held up quite well.

You can hear river flowing and birds chirping in this very peaceful place. We enjoyed interacting with the hosts, who were always quick to help with anything. The house is well designed with every detail thought through to make for a comfortable stay. The nearby restaurant by a lake, also belonging to the hosts and offering food delivery, was another highlight of our stay.
