Summerplace Game Reserve is one of South Africa’s premier mountain biking destinations. Escape to the bush and experience life outdoors. I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

Set in Phalaborwa, 12 km from Phalaborwa Gate and 10 km from Eden Square Mall, Cottage Lenise offers air conditioning. This country house also features free WiFi. great place out of town, very quiet and safe. Owner sent great instructions to enter property, well equipped, nice yard, pool was refreshing after a long day. Would highly recommend this property.

Located in Hoedspruit, this standalone holiday home features a garden with a private outdoor pool. Free private parking is available on site. Other facilities at The Bush House include a barbecue. We loved everything about the property ! So comfortable, beautiful surroundings, well equipped and just overall fantastic ! Dianne made sure we had all the information that we needed well in advanced. Really enjoyed our stay.

Set in Hoedspruit and only 10 km from Kinyonga Reptile Centre, 24 Degrees South Country Estate offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything! Tegan and her mum made us feel welcome and the property was perfect. We stayed in one of the bush chalets which was great for 3 people. There was all the kitchen facilities you need and we were able to spend the evening walking around the property freely. It is about 5 mins from a fuel station which has a little shop, so be mindful if you need supplies to bring everything from Hoedspruit. The accommodation is about 45 mins away from Orphen gate (Krueger) which is perfect if you are on your way into the park like us!

Always great, even better this time with the outdoor pool (we didn’t use as it was winter) and other renovations. Feels like being at home again. We rebook as we love it

Beautiful, quiet location overlooking Marakele National Park. Tasty homecooked meals preparedby the friendly hosts. Comfortable, spacious room with mountain view.
