Chateau de Monrecour is located in Périgord Noir region, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley. It offers two heated swimming pools, a large south-facing terrace and a gourmet-style restaurant. Beautiful grounds and buildings, large and comfortable room, gorgeous modern bathroom, excellent service, convenient location. The bed was perfect. There is an excellent restaurant, as well as breakfast with many choices and helpful service. Staff told us about the conveniently located (and free) spotless laundry facilities, helpful after a week on the road. Wish we would have stayed longer at this hotel.

Offering city views, Le Château Olive et Raisin is an accommodation set in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, 24 km from Parc des Expositions Avignon and 33 km from Avignon Central Station. Beautifully appointed modern apartment, spacious and comfortable. Wonderful views onto the river and terraces. Autonomous entry was east. Restaurant downstairs was high standard with charming staff, we ate there three nights. Highly recommended.

Offering a bar and mountain view, La Masia Del Taulat Chambres d´Hôtes is set in Llo, 7.9 km from Municipal Museum of Llivia and 13 km from Bolquère Pyrénées 2000. The view was breathtaking, and the room was immaculate. Dinner and breakfast were really, really good. Tony was a joy to have as our host. There is so much to do in this area. We wish we had booked for 5 -7 days instead of just 2. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were perfect. A lot of thought went into creating this place. I loved all the beautiful furniture and wall hangings from other countries. This is a very special place and I highly recommend it.

Château d'Arance features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Cette-Eygun. Featuring a bar, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in due to its surroundings and it being a Château. The big surprise was dinner! Maite is the most amazing chef. We didn’t miss one dinner! Fabulous hosts.

Providing garden views, Château Laffitte Carcasset in Saint-Estèphe offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, free bikes, a garden and a shared lounge. The rooms were phenomenal—such unique architecture and finishings. It felt very luxurious at a reasonable price. The grounds are stunning with the pool and gardens. The common area was comfortable and well stocked. Breakfast was the best on our trip through the region. And the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They gave great recommendations and even worked to book us extra tastings. Fantastic stay.

Situated in Artigues-près-Bordeaux, in a historic building, 8.9 km from Chaban Delmas Bridge, Château Fleur D'Aya is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a terrace and shared lounge. The atmosphere was wonderful. Our host Rafael helped in all the ways possible, it was a cozy family type location. We enjoyed our two night stay, it was very close Bordeaux but also felt away in greenery. The chateaux was so nice but the homey attitude of the host and all the family made us feel so welcome. We would definitely recommend it to everyone and would love to come back. It was very conveniently located to plan visits to wine regions.

Well situated in the centre of Sarlat-la-Canéda, LE PETIT MANOIR offers air-conditioned rooms, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a garden. Incredible service and beautiful beautiful hotel We got amazing recommendations for eating around And the staff was so nice and attentive There were so many small gifts and details in our room, definitely once in a lifetime experience

Offering garden views, Le Château de Roquebère is an accommodation set in Condom, 40 km from Agen Exhibition Centre and 41 km from Stade Armandie. Lovely peaceful location. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Château Bonalgue - Pomerol is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Libourne, 32 km from Chaban Delmas Bridge. I’m very picky with hotels and usually try to stay at luxury properties. Chateau Bonalgue showed me a different side. The rooms are comfortable and very nicely appointed (actually I recommend the team to take the pictures again, as the pictures on the listing make the rooms look of inferior quality, when they are actually very nice). The peaceful atmosphere is the vineyard and our 5 year old son discovery and learning was priceless. The whole team was superb. Already missing it.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Château Saint-Pierre de Mejans offers accommodation with pool with a view and free WiFi. Amazing restored 12th century priory. It was luxuriously decorated and a real privilege to get to stay for a few nights.
