Barton Hall has loads of character. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little discovery, will definitely be back!

The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. Set in an acre of gardens, in the picturesque village of Grasmere, Lake View Country House is located in the heart of the Lake District, in a recently-renovated period property with original features.... location is perfect, Nice drive to the hotel and great walking and hiking areas near the accommodation. Both the rooms were comfy. Would definitely stay again.

With a beautiful riverside location, Rydal Lodge Hotel offers elegant Lake District accommodation, 2 miles from the centre of Ambleside. We had a lovely stay at Rydal lodge. It was the perfect little getaway! Mark and Helena went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, giving us advice on where to eat and walk. Our room was comfortable and cosy. The gardens and surrounding area was beautiful, with easy access to Rydal lake. Couldn't recommend enough!

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. Well cooked good choices, staff we very attentive without being over the top ,bed was very comfy 👌 very peaceful relaxing place to be will be back there again best kept secret in the lakes ,the evening meal we had was excellent cooked to perfection by Richard

Amidst the scenery of the Lake District, this family-run bed and breakfast provides rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the fells. The BnB was everything I needed it to be. It was clean, friendly, comfortable, good value and relaxing. The breakfast was simple and delicious. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Overlooking Lake Windermere, Lindeth Fell offers impressive views and free parking, just 5 minutes from Windermere Ferry Crossing. It was a long drive inside from the main highway but once we reached the place , it was a hidden gem with absolutely stunning views. The breakfast was very nice with fresh ingredients, my husband loved the fresh salmon on his toast and I enjoyed the vegan grilled plate . The view from the restaurant was to die for . We had a lovely stay 😊
