Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

Barton Hall has loads of character. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little discovery, will definitely be back!

The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. Great location and view from the room (Lake room), cozy interior and brilliant set up with tea and coffee in the room (I mean almond milk in sticks - very thoughtful!). Overall great experience- probably our best stay in the Lakes so far.

Lots of trees and flowering plants in its 5-acre property. Our 3-night stay was very heavenly and relaxing. Pleasureable walking experience from village to village. Highly recommended for a 3~ 5 day Lake District experience.

Bénéficiant d'un bel emplacement au bord de la rivière, le Rydal Lodge Hotel propose un hébergement élégant dans le Lake District, à 2 miles du centre d'Ambleside. We had a lovely stay at Rydal lodge. It was the perfect little getaway! Mark and Helena went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, giving us advice on where to eat and walk. Our room was comfortable and cosy. The gardens and surrounding area was beautiful, with easy access to Rydal lake. Couldn't recommend enough!

L'Ees Wyke Country House est un élégant établissement géorgien situé dans le Lake District, à moins de 3 km de la ville de Hawkshead. We had a great time staying here. The owner was so warm welcome and pay attention to every single details that their guests can be notice. All the set up and decoration is very precise and professional. Au milieu des paysages du Lake District, ce Bed & Breakfast à la gestion familiale propose des chambres avec connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et vue sur les collines. I love this place. I booked it last minute as I got a late start to my drive up north and didn’t get as far as I was hoping, but my stay here was a pleasant surprise and I’m so glad I got to stop here. Incredibly clean, comfortable, with clear thought put into providing anything a guest might want. Breakfast was delicious, and the view out the window while eating provided a great start to the morning. I would gladly go out of my way to stay here again.

Donnant sur le lac Windermere et offrant une vue imprenable, le Lindeth Fell Country House est situé à seulement 5 minutes du port ferry de Windermere. Un parking est disponible gratuitement. The staff and owners all consistently went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, as well as to help with directions and/or recommendations for walks and restaurants in the Lake District. The breakfast was delicious and healthy, with a variety of choices, and we received very pleasant service from all involved. The hotel building was quaint and beautifully appointed and the large garden was absolutely lovely. A bonus was meeting Alfie and Rosie, the adorable and affectionate resident Border Terriers!
