A wonderful family resort in the east of the alps. Great for beginners. Lots of blue & red runs. Great night time sledging. Loads of restaurants on the mountains with very friendly service. Big portions but not cheap but then ahow me a skiing resort that is. Much cheaper than france and Switzerland and italy.

Ski area consist of 4 hills to 1.800m, so everyone can find the slope which is fitting to him. On the hills, there was a pretty lot of restaurants or bars. There was a free parking place to leave a care in and drive with the lift directly to the entrance. When parking outside, you can put your skies on and by the snow go directly to the entrance to buy a tickets. Parking place was on asphalt so no dirt. The Schladming city is small but you can find there a restaurant for a quick dinner.

One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in. The beauty of the hotel and the wonderful view of the mountain. The room number was 54, a studio with a balcony. It had all the necessary equipment for cooking in addition to all the kitchen utensils., They were very kind and helpful in everything. You need tourist places and attractions. Mainly stayed for bike parks and they have one of the best systems so you don't overheat in the gondola, love it, very kind, would always recommend! Schladming is a quaint little town with scenic views from everywhere. The town centre has nice bars spread out everywhere. However everything closes in this town by 5:30PM max and there may not be much night life to offer.

Little wellness with sauna available for speedy recovery after whole day skiing. Priceless! Try the home made pizza and different breads you can order for morning. It's also a farm with animals which the kids will love and each room has a few treats prepared by the owners to feed the animals every morning/during day if they wish. Would definitely recommend, we had perfect stay. Thank you! :)

The rooms are really big. We - a family with two adults and three kids (0,6,9) had a one-bedroom apartment and there was enough room for everything. Location is nice and only a few minutes away from the city center by bus or car. Only for skiing the bus goes 6 times a day in the morning and afternoon and is not scheduled on the ski lifts. Very big bonus is indoor pool and sauna. After skiing day in Planai (or Hauser-Kaibling) that provided good relaxation. Skibus stops right in front of the main entrace. We've not used that ourselves, but that is again very good thing.
