Comfortable bed, clean and walking distance to pubs and restaurants!
Neidin is the Irish word for Kenmare and translates to Little Nest. A Little Nest is exactly what was envisaged in 1790 when The Lansdowne first opened its door.

This is a great place to stay when visiting Kenmare and neighborhoods. Town center is a short distance walk. This property offers fantastic view on the bay.
It is located right at the beginning of Ring of Beara, so it's an excellent start and finish point for those who want to visit this route.
Hannah is a very nice person and takes really good care of her guests.
I would certainly visit again, if I have the opportunity.

On arrival there was no-one around, but the door was unlocked. We found a check-in desk on the first floor with some notes that showed which room we were in. I phoned the number on the door and spoke to Helen, who confirmed our room number and said we could just let ourselves in. We found the room no problem, with the key in the door and were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of what we found.
Being up on the top floor, there were a few stairs to negotiate, but this wasn't a problem for us. The first flight of stairs from the outside street are a little on the steep side though, so anyone with mobility issues could struggle.
Breakfast was excellent, with a huge range of items to choose from as well as tea and coffee making facilities that guests could use any time as there are none in the room.

I traveled around Ireland for two weeks and stayed in several cities. Kenmare was one of my favorites for shopping, access to music, scenery and the BEST lodging and restaurant at Brooklane. Highly recommend both!

Kenmare was a lovely town and the alternative B & B we found was friendly and welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast. We stayed at Davitts for the second two nights and ate there and it was great.
We were in Ireland for 20 days so we wanted a variety of experiences. We chose this location because it gave us a chance to be alone for a while. No hotels, or B&Bs. It was a great place to recharge the batteries. Nearby places in Kenmare to buy food so it was easy making meals. Very quiet and peaceful location. Outstanding views. There is a golf course close by, but don't recall if it's open to non-members. Just off the Ring of Kerry with easy access to the ring.
The location was superb.
Less than a five minute walk from the town centre.
The Creamy Cottage is spotlessly clean and very well equipped.
The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of clean, fresh towels.
We parked our car safely at the side of the house.
Kenmare itself is a lovely little town, consisting of two main streets with plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes
Overall, myself, my wife and our two sons had a very satisfying short break.
Lovely, immaculate, and roomy home very walkable to downtown Kenmare. Hosts were great and made sure we knew where everything was and how to work it. We used the location as a base for day trips to Ardmore, Gap of Dunloe, Ross Castle, and the Beara Peninsula. We'd previously done Ring of Kerry and Dingle on an earlier trip but they're easily reached from here. Hosts met us upon departure to collect the keys and make sure everything had gone OK.
Rockcrest House offers a 5 star stay in Kenmare . David & Marian are perfect hosts, the rooms surpass many 5 star hotels & the breakfast is the best we’ve experienced in our travels for some time …. we slept like babies.. It’s set in an ideal location less than 5mins from the town centre & we are looking forward to our next trip already. Great to be able to experience a great stay post Covid. Well done David & Marian.
Beautiful rural setting by the river, yet just a few minutes from Kenmare town. The accommodation is high class, well furnished, comfortable beds and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with the essentials for a short stay (becoming increasingly rare in self-catering!). Scrupulously clean. Nick was a perfect host - attentive but discreet - and very thoughtful. He even brought treats for our 2 dogs.
The location is excellent. Just 5 minute walk to town centre. The rooms are very big. This is more like a mini hotel than a B&B. There are comfortable dining and lounge areas if you want to use them but this is a room only place. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and comfort of the place. Will definitely be back.
We stayed in the Brook Lane Hotel last week for two nights. The staff were fantastic, very welcoming, accommodating, efficient and very pleasant. Our room was lovely, very clean. We ate in the restaurant the first night and again it
was beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Kenmare
Nice location 7 minute walk from Kenmare downtown and right on the Ring of Kerry. Cute little B&B with cozy room, comfortable beds and a nice sitting room. Great wifi and and excellent breakfast. The staff gave us great travel tips, restaurant tips and were super accommodating. Well done Happy Pig!
The breakfast was amazing - the best French toast ever. My spouse had the eggs Benedict and raved about it. The rooms are modern with classic antique furnishings. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms are immaculate. Central location to town of Kenmare and walking to shops and restaurants.
Giulia is an amazing host. We had a family room very comfortable and clean. This b&b is very clean and nicely located in a beautiful garden next to the river and walking distance to the lovely town of Kenmare. The breakfast was excellent! Thanks Giulia we really enjoyed our stay!
Lovely clean comfortable room in a house approx 5 minutes' walk from Kenmare town centre. There is plenty of parking. Ensuite rooms, with toiletries and bottled water provided. There is no breakfast provided, only coffee and juice, but this is made clear at the time of booking.
Wonderful hostess!! Great breakfast. Loved the location (quiet) but still close to town. Kenmare is a great small town with enough eateries to satisfy us for 4 nights. Room had a desk plus 2 easy chairs with a small round table between them. Nice views from windows.
For peak season the price was very reasonable and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, one of the best beds I've ever slept on while travelling. Very short and scenic walk (10 minutes) to beautiful Kenmare town.
The hotel is right in the middle of the town centre with a great street vibe, the staff were great, the evening entertainment was fantastic and the breakfast was very good, we would highly recommend a visit.
Very nice and welcoming hosts, and of course - Dirk the dachshund was a star. Breakfast was generous and tasty. Views of Kenmare were amazing and the hotel is a 5 min drive to town.
Helen’s flats were lovely, homey, comfortable places to stay in an excellent location in downtown Kenmare. We loved all the amenities of the flats and the extra personal touches.
Beautiful new apartment in the middle of Kenmare, very quiet at night.. spacious and clean with kitchenette for the morning tea/coffee..would highly recommend.
