Lublin is a beautiful city, full of culture, history and great food. The main square and old town are full of charm, pedestrian only, with amazing fountains that host light and music presentations at times. We found Lublin very welcoming. If you are planning to stay for few days in Lublin, visit to a nearby Kazimierz Dolny is a must, as well as Majdanek for some sobering history experience.

Lublin is a city like no other.
Lublin is a city like no other. Wonderful places, stunning landscapes and rooftop views. Fantastic, warm friendly people that want you to spend the best time. I spend 10 days in Lublin and also travelled to Kozlowka to see the palace. It’s a masterpiece Lublin is very safe. I walked at night every day. Transportation is fabulous with new hydrogen buses, eco friendly.

A truly amazing little town, with a great atmosphere. The mix of modern and medieval, the people and the culture is just great. The town has a lot of history, both bright and dark, and through the different attractions, it offers a time travel through both hard and light times.

Lublin is the 9th largest city in Poland with 9 universities...
Lublin is the 9th largest city in Poland with 9 universities attracting a global audience for study. The city over the last 10 years has undergone much modernisation with 5 mega shopping malls across the city. It boasts much history including Majdanek which is where Nazi's during the 2nd world war murdered Jews, Poles and other dissenters. Check out Skansen which is a throwback to how Poles lived back in the 18th/19th century. Beautiful Old Town, and catching the Sunday Bazaar is must go to find some hidden treasures and cheap wares! Just beware the swindler or chinese knockoffs, but those are few. They also have a nice well preserved shoe collection from a bigone era that were saved thanks to the German efforts to prevent the spread of typhus and cholera.AspirPoland - 10Scored 10

Building is magnific, with very large rooms, the whole place gives you the impresion that you are in a palace-rooms, restaurant, very good and elegant breakfast. We arrived at 1.30pm and were able to check in straight away despite the official time being 3pm. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. Wifi was strong, the staff on reception and in the breakfast area were delightful, the five options of set breakfasts were tasty and substantial and you step outside into the gorgeous Lublin old town.

The station is a 15 minute walk (pleasant enough, even with luggage on wheels). So the fact that the room was nice, cool, and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful was a huge relief. Breakfast (buffet) was fine, good value at 30 PLN. Hot water in the taps. What's not to like?
