The building is a classic . The stuff of dreams . The room was enormous with a view of the beach . Everything was thought of and the housekeeping was exceptional . The bed was super comfy . The pool area is elegant and a wonderful place to watch the world go by . I dined in Pergola and Ciprianis. Both were excellent . The breakfast is world class and every possible item is available . But what makes this hotel truly exceptional is the PEOPLE. The personal touches , the attentive but not overbearing service . Quiet efficiency everywhere and nothing is too much trouble . I have stage in two six star hotels and have NEVER felt so well looked after . As a woman travelling alone that says everything

The hotel is located at a strategic place in Copacabana - close to the beach and many shops and good restaurants. The staff is great - very helpful and professional. We needed to make a video conference during the night and they did their best to help us, including by providing headphones. The rooms are big enough and quite quiet. Beds are very comfortable and they even had - hallelujah! - low pillows. The rooftop bar and pool are a great place to have a drink or sunbathe. Breakfast is plentiful and has all types of foods. Overall, a very recommendable place to stay in Rio.

Boasting a privileged location on the seafront of Copacabana Beach, Mercure Rio Boutique Hotel Copacabana welcomes you to stay in comfortable luxurious rooms. We stayed for 10 nights and all was very nice. Hotel is stylish, clean, good locaton, we had a sea view balcony, breakfast was good and the Peruvian restaurant in the hotel is great. Staff was helpful and kind. We are happy to choose this hotel and recommend it to eveybody who is coming to Rio!
