The room was nothing like j expected. It was way more comfortable and enjoyable. I loved that the place was quiet and relaxing while being close to the train station making it easy upon arrival and check out. However, it was a bit hard to find since it is kind of tucked behind the coffee shop.

This beautiful, renovated and modern hotel is located in the town centre, close to Locarno’s old town with the famous Piazza Grande and Lake Maggiore with its lakeside promenade. Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. Great location. Great view.

My daughter and I stayed here for a couple of nights and were very pleased with it. The room was very clean and comfortable and the AC worked extremely well which was very welcome after long hot days out exploring. It is situated in a great location with many shops and restaurants as well as Lago Maggiore in walking distance. The gentleman working there was exceedingly friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and that everything was to our liking. The breakfast was delicious and we were very well attended to for that as well!

Hotel la Palma au Lac is situated on the beautiful lake promenade of Locarno, a few steps from the city centre. All rooms provide a TV, a safe and a private bathroom. the location was great, and the staff were very friendly

Completely renovated in 2012 and 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto occupies a 19th-century villa in a central location opposite the Locarno Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Piazza Grande, and offers you... The gentleman working the check in, breakfast and everything else (I apologize but I can't remember his name) was FABULOUS and so helpful and kind! Give that man a raise!!!

Set on the lakeshore promenade of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Geranio Au Lac is only 100 metres from the Locarno Train Station and the city centre. It offers a breakfast buffet. The hotel is awesome! The staff are really what made us love the place, and want to come back, but the rooms are super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our patio was so great, and the location in the lake can’t be beat.
