Located in Shanghai and with Jing'an Temple reachable within 3.4 km, Mia Hotel - Shanghai Shaanxi South Road provides a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a terrace. The aesthetic and design were quite phenomenal. I was a big fan of the wood and black finish in the room. The marshall speaker by the bedside was a nice touch, and Danni, the receptionist, was quite lovely and helpful as well.

Ideally located in the centre of Shanghai, Campanile Shanghai Huaihai offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. The staff were friendly. We arrived earlier than the standard check in time with heaps of luggages, however the staff managed to let us check in and settle as soon as they could, which was fairly pleasant. They also provided us with suggestions of foods to eat which was super iconic of Shanghai and delicious! The property was located in one of the busiest region of Shanghai yet in a tranquil area. Everything was handy and Metro stations are around the corner.

Okura Garden Hotel Shanghai is set within 7 acres of private landscaped gardens. It features easy access to The Bund and People's Square, about a 10-minute drive away. Amazing breakfasts, perfect location

Jin Jiang Hotel features European architecture and luxurious rooms. It has a heated indoor pool and 5 dining options. Rooms were absolutely immaculate. Staff very helpful and the room decor in the older Cathay building is stunning

Centrally located in the Huaihai Road Business District, Jin Jiang Tower Hotel boasts 4 dining options and spectacular views of the city. It has a large pool and a spa with sauna. The location was amazing. I wished that my room was facing The Bund but I really liked my room and therefore stayed in it. The staff was so kind to even offer to change rooms, in case there was something available.

Featuring garden views, Shanghai Garden Apartment - Near Downtown Wukang Road provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 2.4 km from Jing'an Temple. The host Amy was wonderful to deal with. She answered any questions within minutes. I had a coffee and cake with her and it was a real pleasure to meet her. When I asked about something like a kitchen knife she had a new one delivered very quickly although I didn't ask for it. The apartment was clean and light with all the facilities I wanted. When the temperature was a bit too cold, the airconditioning was great. I also loved the location, walking to many places. I walked easily to and from the closest metro station when I wanted to travel a bit further. Thank you Amy for a wonderful stay
