Over my expectations, very comfortable and stylish room, super comfy bed. Hotel looks new. Location is 10/10. Many restaurants, coffeehouses nearby. The room might be a bit too small for two, but for solo traveling just perfect.

We arrived earlier than the standard check in time with heaps of luggages, however the staff managed to let us check in and settle as soon as they could, which was fairly pleasant. They also provided us with suggestions of foods to eat which was super iconic of Shanghai and delicious! The property was located in one of the busiest region of Shanghai yet in a tranquil area. Everything was handy and Metro stations are around the corner.

Okura Garden Hotel Shanghai is set within 7 acres of private landscaped gardens. It features easy access to The Bund and People's Square, about a 10-minute drive away. I had three time let friends pick up some gift and receive some gifts. The stuff were very nice

Jin Jiang Hotel features European architecture and luxurious rooms. It has a heated indoor pool and 5 dining options. Rooms were absolutely immaculate. Staff very helpful and the room decor in the older Cathay building is stunning

The host Amy was wonderful to deal with. She answered any questions within minutes. I had a coffee and cake with her and it was a real pleasure to meet her. When I asked about something like a kitchen knife she had a new one delivered very quickly although I didn't ask for it. The apartment was clean and light with all the facilities I wanted. When the temperature was a bit too cold, the airconditioning was great. I also loved the location, walking to many places. I walked easily to and from the closest metro station when I wanted to travel a bit further. Thank you Amy for a wonderful stay
