One train stop from Hamburg Central Station, this hostel offers colourful rooms with flat-screen TVs and free internet. It has a private cinema and games room. From the moment we came in, the staff seemed delighted we were there. We had booked a private room, which was large and comfortable, and the amenities were beyond what I expected. I don’t think I’ve ever seen tampons freely available, for example! And their selection of games, beer, and snacks in the lobby and enjoy-now-pay-later policy helped us to have a relaxing, if short, stay.

Hotel designed with minimal ecological impact in mind. Very modern and stylish. Street art was all over the place, nice little bonus I did not expect. Great breakfast, however not exactly continental... The rooftop bar and sauna with sunset views were another great surprise.
