The staff were wonderful; helpful and friendly and spoke English which was great for monolingual me! Had everything you need including able to make coffee and bottles of water. Next door to Gare St Charles and only twenty minutes walk to Vieux Port. Has character…not sterile like some hotels

The breakfast was excellent The bathroom was very clean. The room was made up as soon as I left the first day (stayed for two days)

Holiday Inn Express Marseille Saint Charles is opposite the train station and a 10-minute walk from the Vieux Port in Marseille’s city centre. It offers en suite rooms and free Wi-Fi. Everything was fantastic - great hotel and staff - spacious room with good aircon and spacious bathroom. Breakfast that was included in price was fantastic. Great location for using Metro , bus and TVG trains. If I ever visit Marseille again , this is where I will stay for sure.

The Hotel Terminus is located opposite the Saint-Charles Train Station in central Marseille. Just a 10-minute walk from the Vieux Port, it offers en-suite accommodation with free WiFi. The hotel is very close to the Saint Charles train station. The localization is amazing because you can walk until the touristic places, or for those who don't wanna walk, there is subway station nearby. The hotel is clean, good staff, comfortable beds, the lift is very small, but this is not a major problem.

Hôtel de la Renaissance is located in the heart of Marseille, a 10-minute walk from the old port. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Some rooms have a TV. Very compact, only basic facilities, but right in the centre of town.
