Shaftesbury Chic rates right there at the top. Everything was perfect - immaculate, well-stocked, roomy, and very comfortable. Yes, the area is noisy up until around 2am, but that's part of its charm. We loved just people-watching from the window. And if the windows are closed, you hardly hear anything. 3 huge fans are provided if it gets too hot - which it didn't, being 4 stories (American) up. There was always a lovely breeze due to the window placement. The elevator only holds 2 at a time, but the stairs are shallow, safe, and open to view.

The "tiny" room was clean and comfortable and large enough to have a bed, window, table, and chair.. There were plenty of electrical outlets as well as a fan and a hairdryer and the wifi worked perfectly. The private bathroom was also clean, as were towels and sheets. The place was easy to find and excellent directions were provided for access to the room. If you are traveling alone, without much luggage, can do a few flights of stairs, and have some theatre plans in the West End area, this should be an excellent match for you! I was thrilled to find it and much appreciated that it was available. I think the price, considering the amazing location, is fair.
