Situated beside Malioboro Shopping Centre in the heart of Yogyakarta, the 5-star Melia Hotel features a freeform outdoor pool and a spa. Spacious rooms provide cable TV channels. A beautiful property with a super convenient location. Room service was super quick, staff was very attentive. They even packed me breakfast at 4am just before my flight. The room was spacious, the pool and outdoor space was well decorated, and the staff was great at English so there were no communication barriers. Highly recommend!

Room was clean. Mattress and pillow good. Friendly staff. Good range of breakfast. The staff whom send our luggage up cum doorman was suprisingly pleasant. The best staff we met thru our entire stay. Nearby convenient store. Train station opposite have lots of shop. Nearby malioboro street too.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. From the staff to the location to the decorations of the building, it's just perfect. Plus, it's just a 5 minute walk to the Malioboro Mall and yet it's secluded enough to not be noisy. There are local restaurants outside which is very cheap. Also the breakfast buffet is amazing. The female staff helped took pictures of me in the lobby because I was traveling alone and didn't have help. I also borrowed umbrella from them during my Borobodur tour because it was hot. And the rooftop swimming pool is a must to try after your city exploration. I highly recommend this hotel.
