Hotel Palazzo Giovanelli går tillbaka ända till 1500-talet och erbjuder panoramautsikt över Grand Canal. Markusplatsen ligger bara 2 hållplatser bort med vattenbussen. Many thanks to Davide for being such an excellent host and welcoming face at arrival. Excellent breakfast, location is perfect on the water with the vaporetto Santa Stae right next door. Rialto, San Marco all at close waking distance.

The Gritti Palace var en gång hem åt en adelsfamilj. Byggnaden har nu renoverats och återfått sin forna glans. The whole atmosphere and history of this amazing building and now Hotel it’s unique.

Al Ponte Antico ligger intill Canal Grande i Venedig, i ett 1500-talspalats med utsikt över Rialtobron. Här erbjuds frukost alla dagar och gratis Wi-Fi överallt. Chose this hotel from the many others in Venice based on the incredible reviews and yet we were still blown away by the service. All the staff so friendly, greet guests by name, nothing is too much trouble, made reservations for us, happy to give tips and a history lesson whilst making the best spritz's in town! The terrace and view is incredible, found ourselves marvelling in it every breakfast, afternoon drink and post dinner night cap, such. an escape from the busy alley ways to watch the daily activity on the grand canal. The breakfast is lovely with homemade pastries from the hotel owner and freshly cooked eggs. Room was spacious, comfortable, dark and quiet, and the bathroom lovely with a good shower. Already planning our return trip.
