Fantastic 3-night stay in Gion, the best hotel we’ve stayed at on our trip to Japan. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and the hotel has everything you need (laundry and ice machine, and any extra amenities on ground floor). Staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have, and allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel before check-in and also for a few hours after check out. The location is perfect to explore central Kyoto and only a 10-min walk to the Chion-in Temple and Maruyama Park.

In a prime location in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO is located 1.2 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 1.1 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 1.3 km from Gion Shijo... Best hotel we stayed in for Japan! We booked a standard double bed and the room was huge! We were happy we did not upgrade upon arrival as there was no need to in the end. We were sorry we didn't stay here longer and do a day trip or two to Osaka instead, as Osaka is only a 15 min Bullet Train ride and every hotel after this was a let down as they were so cramped and more expensive. There's so much to do in Kyoto too! The bar upstairs is unbelievable and the cocktails and mocktails were unreal. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were so lovely!

Attractively located in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Gion Yasaka is located 1 km from Gion Shijo Station, 1.5 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 1.5 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. The coziest, cleanest hotel we stayed at. The rooms are beautiful, divided into riokan and western sections. We enjoyed eating on tatami mats and sleeping on foutons.

Awarded two pavilions by the Michelin Guide 2020, Hotel Alza Kyoto is situated near the Kamo River and within Gion District, a 2-minute walk from Sanjo Station. Topp beliggenhet. Supervennlig og serviceinnstilt personal! Store rom.

Set in Kyoto, 500 metres from Shoren-in Temple, Waka Heian Shirakawa Hotel features views of the city. Great location : close to many shrines we wanted to see, also close to metro station where you can easily reach to kyoto main station. Staff was great, room is clean, all additional items such as pyjamas, slippers, brush etc were very nice

Ideally set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Miru Kyoto Gion is located 300 metres from Gion Shijo Station, 1.2 km from Shoren-in Temple and 1.9 km from Heian Shrine. Location top in the heart of Gion district Hotel and room new, clean and well-finished And, mainly Professional staff, really kind, helpful and english speakers! The best hotel in Japan where I have been so far

Located in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station, Gion Elite Terrace provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Loved the amazing friendly and helpful  staff, who gave us good advice and discussions. Great location in central Gion in a quiet street but walking distance to almost anything.  Great variety and range of eating places and the river close by and of course as many temples as you need with cool peaceful gardens as well as museums. Nishiki Market is a short bus ride or interesting 20min walk.  The room was beautiful and fully equipped incl a small kitchenette, electric blackout curtains and lots of tech Breakfasts were copious and varied to suit most tastes, best scrambled egss in Japan. Amazingly bestiful designer chairs in a little sitting area and free laundry room was an unexpected bonus!

Set in the Higashiyama Ward district in Kyoto, West Japan Kyoto Kiyomizu offers 1-star rooms with free WiFi. perfect place with great staff, you are in the middle of Gion, from here is very near to Kiyomizu-dera temple(13 min by walk), Higashiyama street and many other beautiful places

Ideally situated in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Hotel Legasta Kyoto Higashiyama Sanjo is set 600 metres from Shoren-in Temple, 1.2 km from Heian Shrine and 1.2 km from Gion Shijo Station. The room was unbelievable, it was big and well equipped. All with a traditional Japanese looking, and we loved our polite toilet. Well located, we reach most of our attractions just walking, there is also a beautiful shire near by. And the staff were all super, there is coffee, tea and juice 24h if you want to have one.

Well set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Gion Kenninji Villa is set 1.1 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1.5 km from Shoren-in Temple and 1.7 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall. Beautiful space. Spacious and clean. Wonderful for our family of 4. Close to train station and convenience stores. Able to easily explore Kyoto. Staff was amazing, able to help us on multiple issues.
