Set in Nishijin, Villa Front Kyoto Seimei ヴィラフロント京都晴明 offers accommodation with a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. A microwave and kettle are also featured. The room was amazing. Very close with the bus stop and Family Mart. The electric was completely. I recommend this place for everyone visiting.

Niché dans un quartier résidentiel paisible, le Kyoto Brighton Hotel se situe en plein cœur de la ville, à 5 minutes à pied du Palais impérial. Toutes ses chambres sont non-fumeurs et insonorisées. We have been traveling to Kyoto several times this past year and go to this hotel regularly. Our stay was this time again great, the hotel staff very nice and helpful, the room was spacious and had a beautiful view over the roofs of Kyoto with mountains in the background, the shuttle very helpful. The possibility to rent bicycles directly from the hotel is also convenient.

We loved the quiet neighborhood, a little out of the way of the main touristy area, but not too far to walk to catch a quick taxi to those areas. It’s just a short walk to the Imperial Palace gardens, which are free and open to wander through, picnic in, or even jog or bike in (which my husband did). Our room was on the 3rd (top) floor, and, while there is no elevator, the staff brought our bags up and down, and we didn’t mind walking up the stairs at all. The room itself was LOVELY, and I very much enjoyed the bathtub! (Those with mobility issues might have a tricky time with the stairs and floor mats around the table in the room (no western-style table and chairs except at the desk in the room), but if that’s not a concern, it is a truly lovely oasis of calm! The staff all speak excellent English, and were very helpful in finding a great restaurant for dinner (including making reservations for us).

Regarding the price levels in Kyoto during peak season, this is a good deal. Modern hotel at an international standard. The hotel is close to one of the tourist bus lines that takes you to all the sights, the imperial palace and the castle are in walking distance. Just note that there are two Livemax hotels in this area, I went to the wrong one initially. Just stick to the address in the description and don't just search the name on Google maps like I did.

Situé à Kyoto, à 1,1 km du château de Nijo et à 1,7 km du centre, le Rinn Shiki Juraku propose un hébergement climatisé avec connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et jardin. Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

Excellent petit hôtel dans un "machiya" parfaitement aménagé : - Quartier non rempli de touristes et représentatif de la vie locale accessible en bus, un peu loin des trains/metros mais comme une très grande partie de la ville ou la desserte train/metro reste limitée - Excellent acceuil, bon conseils de restos et visites, possibilité de petit déjeuner local - Dortoir bien aménagé avec grands lits et excellente intimité, de très bon rapport qualité/prix L'adresse parfaite pour découvrir Kyoto !
