Just a 5-minute walk from Daitokuji Temple, Guesthouse Bon offers convenience in air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with no curfew. everything is just perfect! Bon is such a great host, warm kind and super helpful! The house is very clean and lovely! My parents and I love everything in the house. We can make simple cooking in the kitchen, the bathroom and shower are all in the yard, but very clean. Bon makes the beds for us everyday! Just like in a hotel. He gives us many suggestions on dinner choices. He even drove us to the subway station. It’s my parents first time in Japan, and they really love it because of Bon’s house!

Kinkakuji is very close, so you could be there before being crowded. The owner is a nice and helpful guy.

The hotel was just perfect, I found out about it by coincidence and couldn’t not take a room and enjoy at least a day before I leave Kyoto. Beds are very comfy, excellent service, friendly staff, breath taking views, a mix of modern/ traditional Japanese design.

We liked the whole place, the atmosphere, the friendly welcome, the house was lovely done; both for how it was decorated (with good quality modern art in the bedroom!) All machines and appliances worked as we wished!!

Great little apartment, great location and we even got picked up from the station on arrival and dropped back when we left which was most appreciated given our heavy back packs. Highly recommend this place!

Let me start with saying the host are lovebly and really kind. This was the first time of my friends and I in Kyoto, and Will absolutbly come back and stay more. We extended our stay with the Host when we saw the place, it was INCREDIBLE, amazing bathroom, and great bed, really spacious and traditional, it was a dream come true to be honest. We enjoyed the city by bikes that we rented right outside the house, the host offer us a traditional breakfast that was DELICIOUS, the sweet lady that came to leave us the food was also really kind and explain us the name of multiple things. I really wanted to take a shower in a big bathroom and this place have it, I ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT. Is a place with no much things around, But the MiniStop that is a convenience store was close by going in the bikes, So if you don't mind to ride a little and enjoy the local view, go in bike and enjoy the place, just be careful, the place is in a Hill so take a good rest, i was out breath sometimes, but really LOVE IT. Btw the Washing machine is great and the place have a big balcony, so you can dry your clothes there.
